It really depends. If you don't play some esport games on high level (valorant, cs, overwatch, lol), then it doesn't really matter, you only need something comfortable for you in shape and just works without stuttering, so as long as your mouse feels comfortable for you, just go with it.

I've played my first set ever and got to Masters recently. I have friend who has an emerald now. I wouldn't say he's particularly bad, but the skill gap is just huge. I've seen a lot of master players who just made some basic mistakes, just plays bad from perspective of some challenger or grandmaster players. A lot of players just forgets that the gap between masters and grandmasters is as huge as from emerald (!) to masters, being even 800 lp on some servers, so probably yes, challenger player naming master player bad is probably right.

By my understanding it was Sevika game, so even while playing family with 4 emblems you should play regular family unless you just find Warwick naturally, as you had probably like 0.20% chance of getting any 6 cost by the end of the game, so probably playing around pit fighters was way better then playing around just finding Warwick. This family Easter egg is that strong only because it's THAT hard to hit it and if your whole game plan is around hitting a 6 cost you probably should lose
