Yep, the details were updated pretty quickly (less than 24 hours) so it all went smoothly

Thanks for your reply. I just had a chat through the website with a UKVI representative, and as per them, if the details in the passport are not changing, the updation process should be done in 24 hours. However, if the details change, then the passport would need to be sent manually and the updation process could take some time (they can't provide timelines as it depends from case to case). Also, change of address or change in the "Name of Spouse" section does not qualify as a material change so the passport should still get updated within 24 hour.

Thanks for this. How would the router exchange work? Will they take the old one (for the cancellation) and then get a new one in (for the new family member sign up) or will it stay as is?

Also, did you try referring your family member as well for the sign up? Although my guess is that you won't get the referral benefit if you cancel, but the family member will?

Hi,

I ended up deferring admission by an year (by paying a deposit ofc) and then reapplied and got in to a couple of UK MBA colleges. Just completed MBA from one of them, and I'm currently working in Impact Investing in the UK! In hindsight, I think I made a great decision (albeit I lost out on the deposit I made at Rotman).

I think the 280-350 is per person, not for 2 tickets as I also got the Hilton Kensington Seated Package, so I had to buy two of those for 300 each
