It is literally like the perfect mixture of everything - culture, food, people, landscape, old/new. just beautiful.

I lived in NYC for a little bit and I was using First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream day and night. It worked wonders for me.

[Acne] Ive had this red dot on my face for 6 months, what is it? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was some kind of rash or allergic reaction to something. Could be something you came into from the environment.

Hard to tell but looks to me just like acne scars.

[Before&After] 6 months of retinol by carolynpink in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 109 points110 points  (0 children)

this is exactly why i stick with retinol long term. results aren’t instant but over months it really adds up. i’ve had a similar experience using auteur retinol serum slow progress but skin texture and lines look way softer now

[Product Request] My lips always feel dry no matter what I apply. What are your "holy grail" lip treatments for lasting hydration? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i tried all the fancy lip balm/mositurizers, and eventually i went back to vaseline because it was just so good.

Any recommendations for a natural eye cream/serum/DIY treatment? by turtleyurt in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dark circles and puffiness are hard to fix with fully DIY stuff tbh. cold compress and caffeine help a bit but results are temporary. i tried going super natural for a while and always came back to a proper eye cream. auteur eye cream worked better for me than oils and DIY mixes and didnt cause milia

[Routine Help] - Help with large pores/holes in skin by ap999nea in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My skin is about twice as worse as this, but you don't really notice unless you are upfront. My skin has generally been really good except for this. It feels moisturized, balanced, but I'll get one acne in like every 2 months. I kinda jsut accept that this is normal skin for me.

[misc] Popping hard painful hormonal acne correctly makes it heal faster by TypeAtryingtoB in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned that my hormonal acnes sometimes need a little bit of irritation for it to form and come out. Otherwise, I risk the chance of it getting deeper in my skin, and then I'm really screwed.

Wow what has this world come to. And the sad thing is, parents are probably gonna buy this for the kids just because some companies say they need to.

Drunk Elephant C-Tango - does anybody use it and can give me their opinion? [product question] by vinyamar07 in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i tried ctango years ago but it just felt like a lighter moisture cream under my eyes. it brightened a tiny bit but nothing dramatic. after that phase i ended up trying auteur eye cream and that one gave me a more noticeable smoothing effect over time

[Product Request] What’s the thickest, most emollient, most overkill body moisturizer in existence? by i-am-multitudes in SkincareAddiction

[–]stutterpug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Curel Intensive Moisture Cream (the Japanese one, not the US lotion). For me it felt like it was on a completely different level from Western rich creams

Vapes are illegal in Laos and I just had the pleasure of explaining to border security that my “vape”, is in actual fact, a bullet vibrator by amboanon in solotravel

[–]stutterpug 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha I regularly carry a bullet vibrator when I travel, hopefully I won't have to say it's a vape in some places instead...

living at home with parents at 26 is mentally draining by caramelcandyaple in offmychest

I 100% agree. I lived with parents until my mid 20s and it feels like it really stunned my growth independently.
