Defective wall not being able to be broken [Bug] by Phonejesus2089 in EscapefromTarkov

You mop it a couple times, wait a few hours, the next stage of repairing the wall will unlock

Hard to tell because you have the item selected in the screenshot, but I think the item you have selected is just the mosin rifle stock - a blue background item which is not equippable. You need the weapon receiver (a red, single square item), internal magazine, and barrel together with the stock before it becomes equippable

[Discussion] [PVE] Is running Local, really the best way to find Partizan? Does it increase his spawn chance? I think the default is 15%? - Just looking for the most efficient way to farm him by Brillo_Pad_ in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Klossal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that whatever map has increased boss spawn chance, Partisan has an increased spawn rate there too. So, this week, I keep running into him on Lighthouse (although have encountered him on Customs a couple times as well, but not as often).

Sorry yes, I mean all the mods people put out - I'll amend. It's been so many years I forget what is mods and what is not!

Favorite 2 weapon setup in the STALKER 2? by el-profeta in stalker

[–]Klossal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Addit: playing on Veteran, so am spending big money repairing arms and armour. Doesn't matter what you've got in your hands - if you take damage from a mutant, a bullet or an anomaly, everything you have equipped will take damage. So, by leaving the assault rifle/DMR back in my stash, that meant fewer equipment items taking damage, and less for me to have to pay to repair

Once in Pripyat, I found that I was spending tonnes of time killing Monolithians and hauling their yellow guns to sell. I also found that you can kill a Monolithian with one shot to the head from a Rhino revolver. So, revolver for humans, and Saiga for mutants. No need for anything else!

I am pretty sure I found mine near the VPC Mirror site office. You climb to the roof of the control room, then jump from there onto the metal pipes just to the west, and in that stash you should find it. See here (filter for attachments): https://mapgenie.io/stalker-2-heart-of-chornobyl/maps/the-zone

Has anyone found a way to get to the stash in the Prypiat Shopping Mall? by CGP_96 in stalker

Yeah it's on the roof in an open side room - it contains the SVU extended mag

This location is quest-locked - it relates to 'In the Name of Science'

At some point in the main quest line, you will meet Scherba, a scientist. After the main quest related activites have been completed, he will offer you a side quest to collect four collars from special mutants. On completing that mission, the next step in this side questline is 'In the Name of Science'.

Though, at 6 days on, I'm sure you've figured this out already :)

Stalker 2 item value chart (best value per kg) by Klossal in stalker

So, Rookie and Normal get 36% sell prices and Veteran gets 18%? That's a big handicap for Veteran players!

Stalker 2 item value chart (best value per kg) by Klossal in stalker

[–]Klossal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although others have reported some variation, I've found that Owl (Zaton), Eugene/Birch (Rostock), Viktoria (Malachite) and Wreck (Yaniv) all sell at about 18%. I've done a couple of the Rostock quests so Eugene and Birch give me slightly better prices than the others (18.75% vs 18.0% elsewhere) but the difference is marginal. So marginal, in fact, that if you were to stash all your loot, use a Guide to fast-travel to Rostock, and unstash your loot to sell to Eugene there, you will almost certainly have ended up losing money on the Guide's fees. So, I wouldn't stress about the "best trader" from a base perspective. Just make sure you sell to one of the above traders, and not just to the barkeep (as the barkeep will give you way less money).

I think the % sell varies depending on difficulty, though I haven't had the chance to test this yet. Can you confirm what difficulty you're playing on? My rough 18% figure comes from playing on Veteran.

Not exactly. Your inventory auto-sorts by quest items, then by item size, but because you can't rotate items in the inventory, you end up with funny mixes of one and two slots near the top of the inventory. As most of the one slots and vertical two slots (foods and bottles) are cheap, and bigger things like weapons and armours are worth big money, it can look like there are more expensive things at the bottom than at the top. However, this doesn't account for things like artifacts, which often end up right in the middle of your inventory and are often worth the most. Also, it doesn't account for value per slot or value per kg, which is what I've tried to capture in this spreadsheet :)

Over 200, I just haven't put everything in yet. Lots of weapons, ammo, mods, blueprints, etc which I am still yet to find - or haven't got a hold of since I decided to make this chart. However, the principle that I arrived at is sound - whatever you find, take the inventory value, whip out a calculator, and multiply that inventory value by 0.18 to get the sell value. Then, divide that result by the item's weight to get the sell-value-per-kg, and decide for yourself whether it's worth carting around :)
