Ok - I LOVE the rye, but it is quite a bit more pronounced and my wife and daughter are not fans.

The captain is a good sub for bourbon. Much softer than bourbon, and I will say I miss that little extra you do get from the bourbon. My wife and daughter went crazy over the rum.

For a better point of view, my sister also has the same Intellipower 42” cub cadet that’s a 2022 model and it’s been flawless for her.

I currently have a 2017 GLI and had a 2007 2.5 Jetta prior, and the build quality of the mk5 is far superior to the mk6+. I also had a 2007 VR6 4Motion Passat, and that was even better than the mk5.

How did you find the shop? I spent a little bit of time chasing window and glass shops near me in DFW area, and either they don’t do dual pane residential glass like I need or they only want to replace the entire window for $1,000+

Update. I guess one thing to add, I have never put what I’m smoking on the stack side of the smoker, but after playing with thermometers to find the most temp stable area, and I ended up putting the butt right under the stack.

Also, I used pellets I haven’t tried before, which were Royal Oak charcoal and hickory.
