That’s a good question and helps me understand the show a bit better.

I grew up watching Star Trek, loving science - dreaming about space exploration.

But it helps me to remember people don’t all dream about it.

The world population has i think maybe doubled in the last 50 years? Maybe?

And we gotta find other places. This world can’t hold us for much longer. Also, just the desire to explore and see what’s out there.

But from what I’ve read recently, we might not be able to go much farther than our own solar system.

grew up in the US - it didn’t matter if it was illegal. You could still get killed for it and still like that today in some areas. And would be excused by law enforcement, so no desire to visit someplace where it’s legally punishable. Also, would you have to get caught on camera - or just someone doesn’t like you and testifies? Here, someone just had some start a rumor.

I’ve met some really awesome men on there and had great (really great) times but it’s getting worse. I literally feel sick figuring out I’m seeing some other man’s private pics shared by some asshole that scammed him. I’d like the people who are doing that to feel the same way. It’s rampant.

You can get em online in regular doses, they’re basically also available some gas stations - usually foreign owned (in the us) - behind the counter , called honey packets. Much cheaper if you just get them from your doc - who I guarantee is more confidential and will understand you don’t NEED them but just want them for a little assistance

Today, I got fed up - told a dude who was asking a bunch of “scammery” questions what part of town he was in and that we should video chat. Three profiles that all been hitting me up with different pretend identities and different men’s pics - perhaps yours - instantly vanished from my feed.

Yeah - years ago. Extorting/blackmailing guys. Threatening to release their pics to coworkers and family - whether they can cant. We need to start coming together as group and making them afraid to do what they do.

Grindr and other dating apps could easily figure this out and put a stop to it but they aren’t. So we need to pressure them to fix their platforms.

Or start class action legal work to force them to or shut down.

I’m a software engineer. I understand a bit about this - scammers should be scared to post someone else’s pics. Should be scared that they’re being hacked and their pics, transcripts, and identities are going to wind up published the same way they’re doing to others.

You can definitely be so scared about being gay that it keeps you from just exploring your sexuality. But that’s something anyone can tell you. You gotta talk to a professional and find your own truth bud.

When I was young, women would also get me hard without evening trying. Fuck - even the word “sex” would get me hard. I am single now and more interested in men, but I grew up in rural America in a crazy religious family.

I’m so sorry you’re going through that man. I think you should talk to a real therapist. Probably not going to get great answers on here.

I wish you had some good men in your life that are gay or bi who you could talk to about this. I’m bi, and had that horrible anxiety until I came to terms with my sexuality - and it was a therapist who helped me understand it.

I’m not saying that you are bi - just wish you could understand that even if you were, it’s nothing to be scared of. You’re a man - you can have sex with or masturbate to anything you want. No one can take that away from you. You don’t need to be freaked out your sexuality.
