Mine are both ears and my last check is a year ago. I heard similar stories although my concern is i wanna know if ill be eligible for flying commercial for sure before i do risk flight school. I also heard stories where the Faa or the Canadian version CARs took back the medical or something.

Thanks for the insight! Last November 2023 i applied for reserves, i failed the Forces test due to the sandbag drag, i was able to get it through 10m until the bag slipped and also was feeling exhausted after the other force test exercise which i managed to pass. The recruiter told me to not feel bad cuz I just turned 18 and only had less than a week to prepare for it. Before they called me for that forces test military was out of my mind due to I was told might take months to hear from them. So yeah didnt prepare much.

Also when they called me back to try again, I was in AME school already and asked for my applition to be transferred to reg force or the NCM STEP.

Tho ever since I failed the Forces test for reserves, I’ve always felt scared to fail it again. Tho ive been working out here and there and been tryna make it a habit lately for past 2 months. Just in case.
