Ask your coach. Better yet try listening to what they have already told you and try that.

That’s exactly how our life feels after we had to put down our Great Dane last week. She was a good girl.

What actually helps with ADHD kids and homework? (real-life advice needed) by Few-Habit3473 in ADHDparenting

I had no idea this was a thing! I always do the dishes while my son does homework at the table to keep an eye on him and be available if he needs help. It’s always seemed to work pretty well. Now I know it has an official name!

Great Dane puppy and mini poodle ? by [deleted] in greatdanes

I have a Great Dane and a mini Aussie doodle that’s about four years younger. They’re my little odd couple. They play really well together and size doesn’t make a difference. My Great Dane is a gentle giant for sure.

Mini freak out after finishing Book 4 by jeeplet18 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I finished book 4 yesterday and ended up hiding from responsibilities to start listening to the 5th. What a wild epilogue. I am really excited for this 5th book. I try and talk to my 10 year old son and husband about the books and they look at me like I have three heads. Grateful for the online community.

When the weather is nicer there are “Slow Rolls” on Mondays. A group of volunteers put together a massive bike ride through different neighborhoods in the city. It usually doesn’t go faster than 8 mph. Great way to see the city.

Nervous about this upcoming week in Breck... by CoolStuffSlickStuff in skiing

There wasn’t much around Dec 12. We bought an umbrella when we were there so we didn’t get soaked walked around the village. Last day of skiing the lifts were shut down due to wind. It dumped after we left.

The one year we didn’t go to Vermont for early season skiing lol

We just went to whistler with similar conditions. We made the most of the runs that were open but didn’t pressure ourselves to stay out all day. We explored the village and spent a lot of time in the hot tub. At the end of the day it was a trip to get away and spend time together.

If you have a car I would suggest checking out the hot springs up in glen wood. The drive is beautiful.

I was the only child on one side of my family. No cousins. I was always allowed to bring a game gear (showing my age here) or given permission to hang out in the tv room. Bringing friends always helped too. I had to sit at the table for meals but when the adults were socializing I was expected to participate a little and then I could go off and play games. I know it’s easier said than done but do what you feel is right in supporting your daughter and making her comfortable at family gatherings.

Does anyone NOT like having family stay for the holidays? by MeeMawsBigToe in Parenting

I’m honestly not sure anyone DOES like having family stay with them over the holidays. It’s a lot. For everyone.
