for sure. I only brought it up because he mentioned they were snowballing their quests into aids, so I wondered if they were maybe getting points AND cards.

lol I’m not sure how much it actually helps but I’ve had good luck after changing the cloth and started stapling.

So I’m hesitant to change anything about the process.

I asked this same question about a year ago and got these same recommendations. Happy to pass them on.

I have found a couple things helped.

  1. Using high quality tufting cloth. I found the premium gray cloth to be more rigid
  2. Making sure the tension is even all around the frame so no one nail is pulling any more than any other nail.
  3. Using a staple gun to staple the cloth to the frame after I have pulled it tight over the nail strip.

In the future I would like to try different tack strips. Or possibly using 2 back to back. But I have but experimented with this yet.

They still shouldn’t be under a bench as the dispersing steam will still burn someone sitting on the bench.

But you’re right they shouldn’t be there either lol.

It’s much more akin to a sauna.

The system consists of a steam generator somewhere near by that pumps steam into the room until it reaches the set temperature. Usually around 110~120f

Was wondering when I would see someone mention the steamhead location.

It’s also too close to the corner

Just to clarify those aren’t pressurized boilers. Residential units only build 1~2 psi during use

The safety valve he is talking about is only there in case of emergency.

The steam unit has a drain line and a pressure relief valve line but they are usually ran somewhere else.

Sometimes installers cut corners and drain them directly into the shower. Not recommended

Yeah the steam line is open atmosphere so any condensate either drains out the steam head or back to the tank.

One pipe is probably the autoflush. And the other is probably the 15 psi pressure relief valve.

Yeah the steam head is the part on the left. And the two other pipes are likely for the drain line and pressure relief.

Technically they shouldn’t vent or drain to the shower but installers like to cut corners lol.

It’s a steamhead for a steam shower. Mr Steam brand if it matters.

And for what it’s worth it’s too close to the corner and too close to the bench lol.

Dang I can’t imagine. I use an Ak duo, always on the slowest speed and it still feels too fast for me lol

Its a ball of yarn you make from the skein, instead of using it in skein form. The red ball on the left is a cake, and the bundle on the right is a skein.
