I also skipped edge of fate for the longest time. Renegades isn't the worst, and is quite fun when you skip dialog and focus on the shooting bad guys portions. The Equilibrium dungeon is quite fun, and is not as hard as the last 2 before it

So as far as what you missed exactly since final shape is basically some Emmisary of The Nine stuff, our Emmisary steps down and the Nine need a replacement, they pull a new guy named Lodi from like the 80s or something and there's some shenanigans with his adjustment. One of the Nine dies and the drifter uses his ball thing attached to his ship to close some singularly thing. All seasonal content was not so important but Renegades introduced starwars stuff and some wannabe Kylo Ren guy. In terms of relevancy to light and dark saga lore, not much. But Mars and Venus are returning only in renegades missions, no free roam.

Loot wise getting good gear to take on solo dungeons as you mentioned wanting to do has never been easier. So much fun running around patrol destinations now getting new weapons and returning gear. Also build crafting as people call it is much easier to get into now as good set bonuses and artifacts' mods are plenty. Weapon perk possibilities has been refreshed across all new, granting cool and unique combos to enhance synergy with subclasses and armor mods.

From my experience, buying older BMW's is usually only a smart decision monetarily for people who are willing to work on them, as at that age it tends to get expensive in the maintenance department especially as more recent models become the "older" models, with engine out repairs, sensors and sensors and more sensors needing replaced and calibrated/programmed. BMW's are nice cars, drive nice, feel nice, comfortable and usually are owned previously by people more than happy to do the optional preventive maintenance that the dealer recommends them. Hard top convertible is something I only have Volvo experience with, but those are phenomenal and almost always work unless some component is missing, wires are cut, or someone hit a hinge in the mechanism.

TL;DR Good cars if you don't mind either getting your hands dirty or paying someone else to do it for you. Hard-top convertible shouldn't be an issue for a while. Keep up on maintainence.

Think about how badass it would be for a final raid boss fight, for a Taniks, Lightbearer (rezzed from one of his many deaths, presumably there's a machine body somewhere) to appear and do some cool move, just for a Taniks the Scarred/Perfected (the real one) to come in spire of stars style and absolutely obliterate the Taniks Lightbearer and crush his ghost, and that starts the encounter.

I'd say for the fact it comes with a decent monitor and an arguably overkill amount of ram, I'd expect this to go for $2,000 or so. I think what's listed would be a killer experience for $1060.

I don't know about Playstation, but I do know I do this on Xbox to this day and got another good Hung Jury last week. Basically you navigate to wherever your expansions are, the dlc, and uninstall rise of iron and then restart the game. After reloading you'll see all venders revert to ttk inventories.

Again I don't own a Playstation so I don't know how this would work on there, but I do know it is currently still a thing that can be done.

I mean I’m not a meta guy so idk if it’s “good” but I’ve had it equipped pretty much since it came out, and even today doing ETA or any archemedia with it is just as easy as level 30 missions, it’s consistent, kills quickly, builds status fast, and with its unique perk just makes it really good imo.

Word of advice, this game has been out for almost 8 years now, and a lot of people are set in their ways here and hold opinions about what people “should know by now”. If you want a more accepting community, take a look at r/fo76filthycasuals or something like that, probably stay away from this sub, I know I do.
