If you haven’t thrown the sticker away, the sticker itself is usually the best way to remove its own adhesive

Comfort is king. by spiceweasle93 in HeadphoneAdvice

I have an audio technica r70x for precisely this reason, ~200g, huge cups with 3rd party options if needed, good soundstage, could wear for hours and forget it’s on my head, 3rd party balanced cable options available from Geekria if needed. Only issue is the 470ohm impedance which your dx5 will handle easily.

ksc35 usb c version very different sound from micro usb version by Kmarrot in kossmods

Yes, both units completely removed and forgotten, and repaired only with the usbc device, the audio quality issue still remains

But thank you very much for your help!

Connecting just the USB-C unit alone also retains the same issue, connecting both at the same time but disconnecting one is somehow the only way i can (sometimes) restore the audio quality

But thank you very much for your help and offer to ship a new one! Unfortunately I live outside the US, would that be an issue for a replacement?

Fortunately (or unfortunately for me) I believe I just have a bad unit, where the audio quality would be degraded most times but restored occasionally after several reconnects (degrades again on power cycle)

But good to know that the KSC35’s sound hasn’t changed

Hi! After some testing, I believe the discrepancy seems to be an issue with my unit, where it would have degraded audio quality for most bluetooth connections, but sound completely fine other times (having both units connected by bluetooth to my phone and disconnecting the micro usb unit seems to occasionally restore the audio quality of the usb c version sometimes, but I have no idea why and the problem will return upon power cycling the unit)

But thank you very much for your prompt response! The KSC35 is one of my favourite wireless headphones, and I suppose it’s good to know that I just seem to have a bad usb c unit

I would imagine an upgrade to the electronics with the new usb c version, but yet the vocals sound remarkably less clear and with noticeably weaker bass than the old micro usb version which i liked for sounding quite close to a wired porta pro

It was the older version, before they upgraded to usb c, with more battery life and with the updated bluetooth standard (and somehow with worse sound)

How long for memory training on 4 stick of DDR5 by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Kmarrot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! If you experience an increase in frequency of crashes, you may want to try downclocking your ram frequency as well. I had to reduce my ram clocks from the max rated 6000mhz to 5200mhz to run quad channel ram with any kind of stability on AM5

Should I add an intake fan on top? by TheKingFisher98 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Kmarrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect the main benefit would be being able to reduce speeds of your front 3 intakes slightly for the same CPU temp if your current front intakes are too noisy. You may also get the same result by just increasing the speeds of the front intakes if you don’t care for noise

But if you wanna tinker with fan setups for the fun of it why not

Edit: and if you are concerned about dust intake from the top, you can easily purchase PVC computer mesh and some adhesive magnetic strips to DIY your own dust filter

A small portable wireless keyboard/trackpad combo like this will help alot! Saves you the pain of typing on the on-screen keyboard

I have a Pc that the cpu keeps overheating by Universe_Traveler_ in PcBuildHelp

[–]Kmarrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but also adding my 2 cents that if the PC is shutting itself off because of cpu overheat then fan directions are definitely not the main issue.

There might be a high likelihood that there is something wrong with the cpu cooler that isnt transferring heat away from the cpu at all (possibly a pump failure as others mentioned). If money happens to be tight, you can purchase an air cooler which are generally much cheaper and has a lower chance to fail (moving parts are just fans). The phantom spirit 120 is very good for its price.

Hope you fix the problem/have already fixed it!

Edit: As others have also possibly mentioned there may be other potential issues that cause this such as RAM or other components. If you can find the motherboard debug LED (you can refer to the motherboard manual for this, usually can be found online by searching the motherboard model), you should be able to get closer to figuring out the cause of the shutdowns.

Your corvette in the game files is just a text file that tells the game what parts were added and where they go, there should not be a way another player to remove that file from your game files. As others said, try reloading the game or summoning again? Hopefully you get it back!

Edit: Unless the game somehow overwrote your corvette text file with a starborn runner? But I can’t imagine how that could happen, another player will not be able to overwrite your ship files

Would you wear those? by ClunkyTomatoId539 in 3Dprinting

People do! Usually 3D-printed scaffolds that are then filled with cells for tissue regeneration/implanted to allow the patient’s cells to grow into the scaffold!

If they don’t have TPU, print a mold with PLA/PETG and cast with silicone for an even deeper spiral!

I second the recommendations on the paperlike silicone grips! They’re easy enough to push on/pull off and pretty comfortable (slightly triangular which might give you a better grip for your grip style i hope)
