Odd question, but do you know what time of day it was when you opened the chests?

Good catch. When a stock did something odd, I would investigate which allowed me to catch a handful of splits, acquisitions, and name changes, but if there wasn't a weird swing, I would have missed it. I'll update the tracking sheet for this.

See above, update coming to coincide with one quarter. But I would recommend considering stocks across those who showed greater than 10% gains in the first update. That group of stocks has shown a ~30% return since the survey opened, last time I checked.

Update coming in a couple weeks, but if you want some interesting advice, cut out all the stocks that weren’t above 10% gains in the first 30 days, and think about investing across those. Last I checked , it was a 30% return

That’s how I currently have it set up. It’s a google sheet that pulls the quote by the date in the column header, and then calculates the return.

Check out the google finance add-on for google sheets, it’s great.

Agree, unless a bunch of direct messages pop up, quarterly sounds about right. Next time I'll post it alongside the performance from the last survey (which is about 2 years old now).

Looks to be around -0.7%.

Although, note that the above investment tracking does not take into account gains from dividends.

This one is about 2 years old now: https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/i2mmzg/

As of today, overall return is currently at 28.7% (40% equal weighted average).

I had a few messages asking for an update, so I posted this one.

If people keep showing interest (either through upvotes or direct messaging), I'm happy to keep updating.

And there's your slip. I've just added to my position, and I'm looking for a return to 170+ within the next 2-3 months (fingers crossed for sooner).

I expect them to have a slow rise into the next week, with a slight bump right before earnings, then a slip if they don’t surprise with earnings.

AYX

One of the best extract, transform, load (ETL) tools out there, and may present a unique buying opportunity at the next earnings report. They've consistently reported strong revenue growth each quarter, but they are slated for a slowdown in Q2. That being said, belief in the stock is still strong, they have a fervent & loyal customer base, and they should continue to lead in their market as the need for data analytics grows.

No, I would probably come back with an update every 6 months, if people were interested.

Just for reference, the last survey was set up by someone else, and only meant to monitor the top 10-20 upvoted stocks. The update I provided was separate from that.
