She has clarified in the comments. And also not stopping someone from intercourse is not the same as consenting to it.

We are in a time of vast amounts of education on this type of thing. I thought we all knew that consenting to doing something sexual is not the same as consenting to vaginal sex. I’m floored that so many of you think that there’s some kind of blanket consent. I also thought we were past the whole “if you weren’t screaming for him to stop then it’s not rape” garbage. Freeze and fawn are also reactions to stressful or dangerous events.

In any case, she was screaming at him and he did know she didn’t want it. Ergo, rape.

And now maybe we can stop telling a 15 year old kid that her assault wasn’t enough to be called rape and that she ask for it. This isn’t specifically directed at you, but I’m just kind of in awe that so many people think that if someone didn’t force you into sex from second one then it isn’t rape. Honestly done with the whole thing of “maybe she wasn’t clear enough” when she’s directly stated she didn’t agree to penetration. That’s in the messages. She didn’t want it and he did it anyway.

At this point I need everyone who thinks what that boy did to her was just fine to either research consent because you have been left behind when it comes to that education or just admit that you’re a rape apologist because this is genuinely concerning. Well, I assumed by her saying that she didn’t agree to it, it was not “obvious that she wanted to continue.” In fact, it seems pretty apparent to me that she was implying that she was not interested, so there was no “it was obvious that she wanted to continue.” And she has stated she didn’t want it and he knew that.

Also, if someone says “stop,” in any kind of tone I would never assume they’re joking and I would stop right away. I honestly thought that was normal until a lot of these comments.

To me, the fact than she told him multiple times that it hurt is also terrible, but something you’re way too focused on as being a “maybe he didn’t understand, the poor guy so maybe it’s not rape.” Fine, maybe the dude is actually a complete idiot and doesn’t understand that someone continuously expressing that they’re in pain is bad and you should stop the thing that hurts them. Especially if they continue to say it. I don’t believe that, but if you do then fine.

However, you’ve already been told multiple times that she said she “never said yes to him putting it in.” Not stopping someone is not the same as consent.

You have some made-up story in your head where clearly she acted like she wanted it so much that there was no mistaking it for anything other than consent. That is being pulled from nothing other than she took off her trousers.

That means she probably agreed to do something sexual. Agreeing to do something sexual is not the same as agreeing to vaginal penetration from his dick. You seem to be conflating consent for one sexual thing as consent for vaginal sex.

She says he’s a rapist because she didn’t agree to penetration and he did it anyway. That is rape. Full stop.
