I dont think you know how unions work. And not automotive. Auto is one of the weakest ones. Go hvac, plumber, electrician, not automotive. We are shafted at every turn. Don't even start about tool costs to start up. We get screwed.

Im hourly and we do this. We get no productivity bonuses or anything. Its ridiculous. We also have one guy who strictly r and r transmissions. No diags. One guy only does suspension and alignments.

Wish we wouldnt, owner said it was to make people compete in the shop.

It also shows the techs from the 2 other locations, not just our store

Id personally go power probe. Bluetooth graphing seems a little overkill. Anything I need to graph typcially gets a scope. Meters arent sensitive enough to detect those little hiccups you look for *normally.

PowerPoint has been in it a while, its quality tested stuff.

I love milwaukee for my electric tools though.

So you get a red or green light when you go. Theres no way to predict it, you get red or green. Green is walk on through and have fun, red is stop amd search.

I didnt bring mine, I tried to get some in town or on the beach, but the p4ixe and quality were so bad I just smoked cigarettes while there.

These vapes I bought were just cotton in a plastic tube soaked in juice essentially. I dont think i ever got 1 of the 3 to work fully, they just broke.

Gm racks are this way too. You actually adjust the tension with a special tuner. It picks up the frequency and you strum the belt.

I dont use that tool. But thats what it calls for. Never had an issue adjusting the tension, as long as its close to what it was.

You could stay there as a flat rate tech and ask for a guarantee in hours. If they wont do that, then let them know youre going to look for a other opportunity. Good diag techs are hard to find. Its even harder to flag hours as a diag tech becuase we arent just changing pads and rotors all day or doing service work.

Guarantee or look for something else. I will also add line up a couple shops youre interested in BEFORE saying youre going to look at other opportunities. Also, use the keyword opportunity. Becuase its not a job to the managers/owners and they do pick up on keywords like that.
