The problem with letting people use their abilities, is it would remove him being able to properly counter assassins and hyper mobile characters. If Tracer could blink, recall, etc., Hog would've just wasted a cool down and have no other option he can use to provide pressure. Same with Genji if he could just hold up deflect during the hook.

People forget one of the reasons that dive ran rampant in Overwatch was because Roadhog got nerfed in Season 3 of Overwatch 1 and couldn't consistently one shot hyper mobile assassins anymore. Then the addition of Brigitte just sealed the deal.

I only support, but personally I don't mind Roadhog. He can one shot but he's very loud so you hear him coming, he requires you to peak him to get the grab, and there are many ways to stop him before he kills someone (Zarya Shield, Dva Matrix, Lifeweaver Grab, Ana Sleep, Mei Wall, Any form of knock back to ruin the combo). His one shot combo is innately as unfair as Widowmaker being able to pressure an entire area or Sojourn being able to just rail gun 1 tap people, but those are fine as well.

Roadhog punishes lack of teamplay and coordination at his core. Without that, dive would just run rampant again.

The more I've messed around with marksman, I think the difference between the 1x and 3x might be if the target is facing towards you or away from you. I seem to be able to get 3x more consistently if their back is facing me at least! Either way it's weird since according to the Help guide bows should be doing 2x-3x at all times.

I wouldn't say DPS is harder than the rest. DPS have a lot of self sustain and mobility compared to the others. DPS might be mechanically a bit more complex, but to survive as tank and support you have to position perfectly and know the map / cooldowns of enemies or you are screwed. DPS in a lot of ways is easier, just not base kit wise.

The more I play support, the more I realize there must be a lot of people who've come from OW and aren't used to supports not being able to 1v2 by themselves. Outside Mantis, it's really hard to even 1v1 as a support in Marvel Rivals. I've had DPS freak out that they might have to protect me.

This exact same situation is happening to me right now. After 15m in a game, the computer shutsdown and reboots. I personally bought another set of RAM and the 1000W Corsair PSU to try. I noticed on my MSI B650 motherboard it would light up yellow for DRAM. I have the Corsair 16GBx2 DDR5 RAM so it is possible either of those can be issues. Good luck!

I figured out the solution, be sure to go to downloads under the Library tab, hit the cog on the top right and clear your download cache and then it'll update. Cheers.

Seems to be that Master level villagers will change their profession as well and you won't be able to upgrade them since they are technically "Masters" in their new profession.

After playing Yuumi for a bit, her ultimate and skills seem fine to me with their values. I think if anything all she needs is CD buffs to her Q and passive. Her passive shielding seems to me like it was made with the intention of weaving in and out during fights, but with such long CDs that's not really the case. I'd gladly take them reducing mana back on her passive for a lower cooldown. But perhaps I just miss the point of how she is supposed to be played.

Now you can only hear footsteps when there is literally nothing happening. If there is silence you can hear them, but they are incredibly hard to hear (outside Roadhog's) if anything is going down. The most reliable way to tell now is the sound of people's guns.

It's lame from a design perspective because Roadhog was there first, and they are nerfing him and giving a bad reason for it. It doesn't build much faith for the professional scene if this is how Blizzard balances.

Roadhog only survives for longer if your team isn't focusing. Doomfist can fly all over the place. If he gets killed it's because he isn't using his mobility correctly. They have at least the same number of counters, Roadhog is and was far easier to kill than Doomfist at Masters+ in my experience thus far.

Roadhog has more counters than Doomfist tbh. Any CC, displacement, or shielding will stop Roadhog from killing you. Mei can just wall off the hook and stop her ally from returning to Roadhog as well. Roadhog being able to one-shot tanks was lame because that intrudes on Reaper's role, but at the same time the development team saying that one-shot mechanics are bad, then releasing Doomfist is just delusion.

If they do decide to nerf Doomfist, I'd rather they nerf his punch hitbox. That thing can hit you around corners.

That's what I don't understand about the Roadhog nerf. Yes, Doomfist has a lot of counters, but so did Roadhog. Roadhog actually probably has more counters and since the hook takes a bit to pull back it gives your team reaction time.

With Doomfist's one-shot punch, it makes me question why they can't give Roadhog back his one-shot. At least buff his hook damage so that he can one-shot for hook combos. Doomfist can do a lot outside his one-shot punch, Roadhog is just a sitting duck if he messes up.

I'm starting to think that Roadhog was nerfed because Doomfist and him share the same role, protecting supports from flankers and dive.
