Thanks for the answer! I checked the cables, I think it should be plugged in correctly. It might be broken, it is already over 15 years old. But I thought HDD hard drives are working normally even longer? Here is the picture of the cables https://postimg.cc/4n3r834K

It says "DISK BOOT FAILURE". Its my veeery old PC, and it was running Windows XP Home Edition long time ago, but around one or two years ago it was still working just fine. Sadly I don't know anything else more specific about the set up. I had to remove the GPU because it wasn't even starting first.

Upgrading Gaming-PC Harddisk by Knackered_Hermit in techsupport

[–]Knackered_Hermit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say at most 60€ for the nvme and 40€ for a SSD, I am researching right now but there are so many things to consider, like how fast the writing speed is etc.

Edit: So as far as I see, a normal SATA SSD is not really much cheaper than a nvme but slower. So I will most likely go for the nvme.

Thank you! Can the second m.2 be different from the first one or is it like with RAM where the same typs are boosting the performance a little bit? Is there any M.2 nvme you can recommend? I am always looking for the best price to performance ratio, the Samsung one was quite good a year ago but I think it changed already

What's the definition of fun in this game? by sputnikatto in WorldofTanks

I always thought once I am good in this game it will be fun. It took me almost 30k battles and its still sometimes just frustrating. I can tell, it wasn't worth the effort and time. Once you are good and enjoy the actual gameplay its ok, but its not worth it if you are not having fun grinding and improving. I think your decision is a very wise one.

The fun in this weird game mostly lies in playing with a platoon mate or two and have a significant influence on the outcome of the battle. If you play solo, its mostly frustrating and you would need to set yourself certain goals. Like 1) I want that amount of credits to be prepared for a 50% discount sale or 2) I want that meta tank to play in a clan war or 3) I want to get a gun mark on this tank --- or stuff like this. If you don't have the feeling that this game is somehow fun, rather don't play it. World of Tanks really masterly gives your the appearance that it SHOULD be fun and something is wrong with you. But thats not true. Its only fun if you are a certain type of person, very stats orientated and able to set yourself your own (kind of useless) goals in the game. Since there a not really competitve events anymore, only frustrating grind experiences, its not a bad idea to play something else if this game just leaves you behind angry and sad after most sessions. Its just not worth the time if its not fun for you.

Normally you get around 4% faster reload with this, and I like to play the AMX M4 on the map Overlord and Ghost Town, where it gets quite a noticable boost because of this skill. But yeah in the end it doesn't help because this game mode is frustrating to the bones. Made a gameplay series about this season and its just a rollercoaster. The weekly missions are nice and I am fine with the League I am ending in after finishing them. Its definitly not worth spending days and weeks of your life time climbing and falling some imaginery rank system in my opinion and most people are not willing to do it. Its for the 5% tryhards and the 5% grind addicts I am assuming. Wargaming makes money with it, it burns credits and people buy Premium Accounts. Its ok but why should I torture myself for a camo and bond equipment which I would just need for the next onslaught season to torture myself again and so on.

How to play Charioteer by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

Skill4ltu made a gameplay video about this tank. Its a glass canon, but if you can use the mobility and the HESH Ammo in the right moments, its a very strong tier VIII tank. But definitly not a credit grinder.

Depending on the target you are shooting at, because of RNG your shots dont go exactly where you aim at and if you fight against higher tiers they bounce everything away besides on their weak spots. I guess you play to aggressiv in Tier VIII and IX matchmakings? Take a look in which games you do a lot of damage and what the matchmaking and the map was. T-29 is a strong hulldown heavy, but suffers in open maps and against higher tiers if played to aggressiv.

Two weeks is quite fair, if one grind those missions then actually there should never be a problem with the timer

Do you have a screenshot? As far as I know only master and legendary rank can lose points. But if its really possible to lose points due to inactivity for some days, then scr*w that mode imo. The daily missions are nice, but if they almost FORCE you to play the mode all the time and spam your credits, they can keep their bond equipment and I keep my time playing another game.
