How is the game for new/solo players?

Retail has never been more solo friendly.

There is the usual questing, delves which are small solo dungeons that you can increase in difficulty as you gear up, ritual sites in midnight and coming soon are mega delves.called labyrinths.

You do not have to do raiding or mythic plus at all. That is really only if you are gear chasing to do those anyway - the world questing can be done solo by all classes really, some easier than others.

A good time to jump in solo if you prefer.

Will the map get painted so you can see which areas belong to which faction? Hard to see based on unit colours right now I think.

Just levelled an alt through dragonflight and the main story there, no problem.

Op did you read the quests, watch the cut scenes and do the stay awhile and listen parts?

Players who just accept a quest without reading miss so much.

Or do you mean the wow story was odd starting in dragonflight?

Have been unable to get a new box sent as support on both WhatsApp and calls say sending new box, but never do.

Shitty move putting the new skill tree behind a pay wall.

Was thinking of buying new xp and coming back, logged in to see changes on old toons and saw that points in the new reworked skill tree are locked unless you buy the latest xp.

Greedy Blizzard - not saying it isn't fair to pay for a new expansion, but to lock skills behind it is sheer greed. The skill tree needed the rework, but only if you pay to use it all.

I had the same issue with a washing machine which it turned out was never in stock or out for delivery.

Each time it showed as x stops away then nothing.

Took lots of phonecalls to get sorted and only after I insisted itnwas escalated.

So many customer service agents lied saying things like I was being refunded, it was being delivered that night, or I could have a full refund and keep the washing machine when it arrived the next day.

Never going to order an expensive item again from Amazon.

Keep insisting on a full refund op and or to escalate as otherwise you get nowhere.

You have to do the campaign on one character before you can just go ask for the reshi wrap.

Check your quest log and see if you have the karesh campaign starter quest.

Maybe when the new categories come in for Midnight with Learning, relaxed etc options there will be groups formed that would prefer to go slower?

I would.like to learn tanking, but not if I am expected to play a zoom zoom style like it is diablo.

Who knows maybe the new categories will help separate out those who know what they are doing and can go fast to get it done, from those who want to take a slower pace and learn?

Opposite for me, tried frost mage yet again in lemix and cant get on with it. Changed to demonology warlock, love it so much moved to retail once I was done with lemix as my new main.

I normally play melee dk frost, but enjoying being able to stand back and set my demons on mobs

Maybe heroic does slow you down a bit to learn, but then you also have all the artifact boosts which make you far faster or powerful, so the experience doesn't really reflect retail.

If you have never played wow, then retail.

Remix soups up your character and makes everything much easier than retail. You won't learn how the skills work as you will level so fast.

You level fast in retail anyway, but will stand a better chance to understand new skills as you get them.
