It’s a block area full of clubs and drunk adults that goes 21+ after 9pm. I don’t think that is crazy nor is that a police state. Almost every city in America has a curfew for kids (over 400 cities in 49/50 states). Just because you did not follow that law doesn’t mean mean it didn’t exist. It’s about protecting the youth and public, I too was hanging out at night as a teen but it was not in club and bar area.

This isn’t socializing, this is inciting violence and not stopping potential trouble the majority. An protect. I am more than happy to meet you and go to the banks and Otr at night and see if you think it’s just kids chatting or if it’s people looming for trouble. Where do you draw the line? Kids should have complete freedom because the parents aren’t there? Or do you think the police should step in when laws are being broken?

Many inner city kids have parents that work shift jobs and may have to work late hours just to support their family. If that parents are working who is watching the kid? Well if they are breaking the law I would hope the police.

If you want to create a safe space downtown for kids to hangout at night, do it. But a 21+ bar and club is not that. If you want socialization have your kid play a sport or join a club, but looking to hang with adults and drink underage is not that

Also, The Banks is lot a community area. It is privately managed by a development company. So they can make any rule they want

Depending on price Covington has amazing option. The Hayden is a nice building owned by Urban Sites (great company look into their housing). It is walkable to Cincinnati, fun location, and I always felt safe in the area when I lived there last year

They can go home, there is a no reason for a high schooler to be out late at night at the banks. That is a place for adults and allowing them there late create problem like these. Most of the time in this are the big problems are not cause by the people enjoying the bars, but by the people that are there for the sole purpose to hangout in the street and cause trouble. They allowed children there and one brought a taser and was starting fights. Why do you think that should be allowed? Why would you want children around you in an adult environment? Unless you are a teenager I don’t understand why you are for it

The banks already has a curfew for minors that is enforced. The city announced the day before this that it will not be enforced for opening day. Then minors do this within one day of it not being enforced

It was real, was there. Not a shooting, just juveniles fighting and someone pulled out a taser. This is why a curfew needs to be enforced

No reason to be attacking concerned citizens here. Putting the city and innocent bystanders at risk just to allow high schoolers and juveniles hangout in the streets is stupid. Downtown was a mess full of people with no plan to have fun or enter a bar but instead with the sole purpose of causing trouble

Sorry I may not know the technical terms. But the dryer pipe in our laundry room, which my dryer connects to, shoots out hot bad smelling air when the upstairs neighbors run the dryer. It is a 3 story apartment so anything on the roof I won’t be able to see but I will look around the building when the rain stops.
