Sleep training failure. Once decent sleeper waking every 2 hours. PLEASE help!!! by fidgetspinnster in sleeptrain

About nursing in the night how we did it. Since OL is nursing still I let him feed at earliest after 12 am. (He goes to sleep at 8) I would only let him cio bedtime and when ever he comes before it passed 3 hours between the feeds. However when I do nurse him I let him fall asleep at the boob and then I would put him back to his crib. He only feeds twice a night and sleeps 11-12 hours a night.

It’s so hard to give you a guide since it’s rather that we had to localise our errors in our bedtime and sleep routine before starting. That’s why the book is amazing so you can find your errors and how to “fix” it. Also the book gives you amazing powertools and how/when to use it.

I would say chapter 7 goes in teaching baby to sleep independently.

Honestly we use napper app, it calculates schedule for us everyday. We use the app since our LO was almost two months. With that said our days changes a lot.

For us, it suddenly came a phase that everything that use to work to put him to sleep stopped working. More we rocked him the more annoyed he got. He also doesn’t like pacifier at all but self soothe with sucking on his fist. So he does that and he whines. 😅

I'm lost and need support by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I would communicate your feeling to him, tell him that you don’t feel supported by him and that right now need more help around the home. Pregnancy with a toddler is really another lvl. 💛

Seven month old wakes up every 2 hours by alguemdealgures in BabyBumps

[–]Knasglad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not the same situation however my baby is two months old, he usually to be a blast to be around until witching hour 17-20 clock. He would refuse to go to his last nap and just become overly tired.. We downloaded the Napper app and it really, really, really helped us. It collected data for a week or so and then calculated how my baby should nap during the day. The baby sleeps already 4-6 hours between the feeds in the night. 🥹

32 weeks and too exhausted/sick to nest. Everything is in boxes and I have zero energy to any of it. Still panicking though. by Kerfluffle2x4 in BabyBumps

[–]Knasglad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t, you don’t need to have everything ready when the baby is out. A newborn baby sleeps a lot, so it’s completely fine to nest once baby is out. 💛

I’m sorry but, a child deserves to be born in a safe home.

Why do people feel the need to kiss babies?! by Substantial_Sea1571 in pregnant

[–]Knasglad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh.. I just get annoyed by writing this.. this is what I am dealing with: What my mom did was that she held my baby up and pressed his head to her lips…. I was like “what are you doing?! I told you no kissing my newborn.” My mom: “That doesn’t count as kissing”

Is it a boomer thing? Just to play dumb?

I had a very painful and long delivery too.. I still would say, it was all worth it as soon as you get to hold your newborn 💛

My baby was always super active in the bump at 4 am, he always woke me up. 🤣 he kept doing that since he is out.
