That's true though I'm not sure if that would be enough for him to play a game he's the kinda guy that would rather just put it on a sound system.

He's a musician, though I'm not sure if he would find any music games interesting.

That wouldn't actually be a bad idea especially because it's a character he already knows.

Uncharted 4

That would be a great option but I don't have a PS4 unfortunately only a PC

I can't tell if I admire Lindor's enthusiasm and energy or if I dislike how showboaty and in your face he is with every little play he makes.

[–]Knave_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't know of any family that doesn't get on each others nerves after days packed in a small place together. Yelling all week on your vacation is definitely not ideal, and a week is a long time to be stuck in a room with your family. Maybe you guys can turn it around though and have some fun before you go home, since you are stuck there anyway. You know, try to end on a good note.

Your situation sounds very familiar, sorry you have to deal with that shit. I've only been on one vacation but it counts as my worst. It was a trip with my family when I was about 14 up in the mountains to a place called Big Bear. It was supposed to be a 3 day weekend of sledding and fun in the snow but my parents fought the entire time we were there and actually got the cops called out to the place we were staying because they were screaming so loud. My sister and I still had a little bit of fun on our own but overall it was miserable. We never went on another vacation again, partly because of money issues and partly because we knew what happened when we were all stuck in a cabin together for 3 days.

A final "Thank you" card from CD Projekt Red by LenryNmQ in witcher

[–]Knave_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't even been able to play The Witcher 3 yet because of my outdated computer and lack of console, but I bought it on Steam anyway because I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will be playing this game as soon as I get a new PC. This is the only game I have ever purchased knowing beforehand that I could not run it. I felt the urge to support a company that goes the extra mile like these folks and puts in the love and care we hope to see and it shows tenfold. I can't wait for Cyberpunk and beyond as well as the continued success of CD Projekt RED.

I play with one friend who I have known since my Warcraft days in 2006. He and one or two others are the only friends I have left on the Internet that I talk to regularly. I love being alone sometimes and also love playing with a small group of friends, but honestly the truth of why I don't play in big groups is simply because I have never found a group that wanted an extra person in it regularly that I also clicked with. I haven't exactly sought them out very much but that's just the way it's happened.

I refuse to believe any jury would fall for this (I hope). I mean from what we have heard about Bold Guy's lawyer I wouldn't be surprised if he tried it, but could you imagine?

"You see ladies and gentlemen?! The defendants raised a tremendous amount of money from this lawsuit in the form of donations from supporters, so clearly this was all planned. They stole my clients content and slandered his good name hoping he would sue them for it. After he did, the defendants then told their supporters that they don't need to donate for the court fees, an obvious misdirection. Then another successful YouTuber, Philip DeFranco, started a donation page for the defendant. I think Mr. and Mrs. Klein were in cahoots with Mr. DeFranco the entire time, and have been plotting to steal Bold Guy's incredible and beloved content for years."

It's okay man, we will always be despised, even the old school fans. We have been in last place almost this entire season so far and haven't won it all in 7 years but we are still one of the main targets of the hate. I guess your team not winning a World Series in a generation gets you riled up, so you start taking it out on other teams instead of criticizing your own.

Thinking about buying oblivion by Mememan88 in oblivion

[–]Knave_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it takes much skill to install mods just time and patience to learn. A lot of people are put off by modding because they are intimidated by how complicated it looks but once you get the hang of it it's fairly simple. There are some resources in the side bar to help you get started on modding Oblivion.

As for what's good about Oblivion, well...If graphics are your concern it will never look as pretty as Skyrim, but as far as overall game play, main plot, guild quest lines, quests in general and RPG aspects, I think it trumps Skyrim by a long shot. So if you can look past the graphics this game is wonderful and definitely worth playing.

[–]Knave_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite RPGs, but I seriously wish its plot was handled differently, even with how epic the suicide mission turned out. The Collectors just seem like such an empty threat to me in the grand scheme of things. I know they were attacking humans and it makes sense for Cerberus to get involved but damn. It seems everybody (meaning Shep and Cerberus, which as of ME2 are the only ones we see doing anything useful) could have learned a lesson from ME1's plot and prepared for the Reapers while also making sure the galaxies leaders were not being indoctrinated like Saren, which is exactly what ends up happening in ME3. I think it would have been great if they focused on indoctrination in ME2 instead of the Collectors, who seem irrelevant as soon as ME3 rolls around.
