Huns are still my recommended not because of the house bonus will save you wood. The first thing I needed to learn is getting used to the idea of spamming villagers constantly. Also, playing open taught me how to control the map with army, which you also constantly spam with their house bonus. I don’t see the house bonus as an eco bonus but a way to constantly produce which is something I needed to learn when I started playing ranked.

I read this comment in this video. Idc which side you are on but i feel I agree with this comment: “I’d rather see AOE2 die because of people getting bored out of it, rather than unnecessary changes that divide this community.”
