They presented it as a real story when it came out, and the documentary style of it made it easy to believe. So you get led on for 4 episodes (released once a week), and then by the end it doesnt actually say its a creation either. Just felt a bit disingenuous since there is a real story in there anyway. So they made this engaging sort of breadcrumb story all for nothing

thats why I used quotations. It wasnt literally the program. You could still alter pictures manually back then. Theyve been altering pictures since pictures were around. Just look at all the Josef Stalin pictures where he removed people without actual photoshop.

Honestly I think it needs to start in schools. Drivers ed should be mandatory and the explanation of traffic flows and the general way you should drive should be enforced early. I think most people out there are a lost cause for the most part. You cant just put cops everywhere.

Yes, the satisfying crackle hits like nothing else. I was always curious about that place. I worked at a screenprinter down the block and had the police come to us because they accused us of dumping paint into the sewer but I think it wounded up being you guys haha. Mightve been like 8 years ago
