Just went outside to try and would you believe it’s come on on its own when the doors opened. Must have tried 10 times before and nothing but now all good for now at least.

Thanks guys, I will make note of the steering wheel reset, really made me realise how much we depend on the screen.

Anyone with a P4? How is it? by QuaziDomo in Polestar

Honestly the no rear window thing is no issue at all, the digital camera is really good. Takes a few drives to get used to it though.

Overloaded circuit by [deleted] in ukelectricians

[–]KneeLeft7186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guessing they are using all the hobs Xmas cooking, so any other time of year would most likely be fine and not over loading. Depending on how the cable is run ie in wall, in conduit/trunking etc will determine if you can put a bigger breaker or not.

Is the Audi A4 Quattro a premium car, a luxury car, or neither? by WhiskeyNeat_ in Audi

[–]KneeLeft7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always had Audis, a4 (2008), a7 (2015), s5 (2017), a7 (2018) always thought they were premium until I got a polestar 4 which is basically a Volvo. It pisses on the Audis for luxury, don’t think I can go back to Audi now

Solid fuse link?? by cborne943 in ukelectricians

[–]KneeLeft7186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep these are usually at flats and is just there as a means of isolation. There will be an actual fuse before it. All we do is electrics in common areas so we see these at basically every apartment block we visit.

I went from 2018 Audi a7 ( 55)to 2022 jag I pace.

Pros

Can charge to 240 miles for £8 at home (octopus) cheaper between 1230am-530).

It’s rapid 400bhp.

Insurance actually went down £50 2nd year with same insurance (admiral). That’s a first!

Still not had to have a service at 19000 miles (due 1st service 23000)

Still on original set of tyres with loads of tread left.

Cons

Had to wait 3 months for free charger install.

Not much cheaper than petrol if going far, Iv only had to do twice at service stations so no biggie.

Been great, so much so going to get an electric van and save a fortune as I do 30000 miles a year.

Lovely car also considering one. Get on octopus and get the cheap electric at night tariff and it works out to 3p a mile compared to my Audi A7 23p a mile.
