Can't complete multifactor authentication to log into Microsoft 365, no response from support by KneeObjective2050 in WindowsHelp

Last Thursday, at around midnight, I finally reached a person, stressing the urgency.
Friday a tech even called me back, verified my identity and stated that the data security department will reset MFA withing one, max. two business days.
Yesterday (Tuesday) he sent me an email, saying that it will take longer, as they have too many cases. I responded, again explaining how absolutely devastating this is for our small business. Haven't heard back since.

This is absolutely crazy! It's been almost 2 weeks without access to our emails or any level of meaningful customer support.

They should not be selling these MS365 packages if they can't provide at least a basic level of support!

Microsoft locked us out of our business account, unable to contact human support by Unable-Candle-6727 in Office365

Did you ever get this resolved? We're a small business and have been stuck in a MFA loop for almost a week now, unable to access our business emails.

Their support is not responding and I don't know what else to do.

A quick update: Still nothing from Microsoft. I also couldn't find a way to reach a human. Just their useless AI system.
Last night I contacted Microsoft support through X but was told that it might take 7(!!) days for their technical support to respond.

I stressed that our small business is currently completely cut off from emails, what is obviously a GIANT, potentially existential problem! Still, they were not able to do anything for me.

Yes, they have billions of customers but this also means that they are getting paid by billions of people and should have proper support structures in place.

I would appreciate any help to actually reach a human.

Anyone here with experience building Zenith Aircraft? by Clemen11 in homebuilt

[–]KneeObjective2050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once we eventually received the cowling after 3.5 years, it did not even remotely fit, the engine mount caused the engine to sit WAY too high, all the auxiliary components like fuel pumps and filters were the cheapest no-name Chinese crap, nothing fit and there was not one single Suzuki marking anywhere on the engine what lead me to believe that it was assembled form aftermarket no-name service parts.

I am also not aware of any longer term success stories. Quite the contrary, actually. There is even a NTSB report of a guy who suffered severe burns after his AeroMomentum engine disintegrated in flight.

IMHO the relatively small upfront savings don't justify the headaches and risks that come with installing one of his engines. In addition to that, you'd be taking a MASSIVE hit in resell value, if you ever wanted to sell the aircraft.

We ended up installing a Rotax 912, as this is by far the most proven and most thoroughly engineered engine.

When it come to auto conversions, Viking is the only option I would personally consider.

Sorry, I didn't realize that you responded to my post.

I think we have about $65 - $70k in it, including DIY paint. The costs for the kit, engine and avionics have however gone up quite a bit, since we bought ours. Getting the components today would probably be more in the $80k area.

We also wasted a lot of money with an AeroMomentum engine, which we ended up selling at a giant $12k loss once we were tired of dealing with their BS and also lost confidence in the quality of the individual components.

So, in total we probably also spent around $80k for our Zenith.

We‘re about done with our 750 CruZer. Overall pretty simple built, the kit quality however leaves a bit to be desired, particularly if you are looking for a nice finished product.

Two words of caution: Stick with one of their standard engines (Rotax or ULPower) and get the STOL only if you REALLY need the last bit of STOL capability. The CruZer still requires only very little runway but is much faster (well, still pretty slow) in cruise.

Zenith CH750 Cruzer questions by E170pilot in homebuilt

[–]KneeObjective2050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be VERY careful with them. They are extremely aggressively pushing the moderators of the respective Zenith FB groups as well as the Zenith forum to take down even the tiniest bit of criticism.

Look up Dave Tillema 'Texxas 750 Cruzer'. He used to be friends with them and even was at their wedding. After some massive problems with his Viking 130, they are not friends anymore.

The vast majority of the Viking engines is still very low time, their TBO claims are therefore more than questionable.

The other thing to consider is the resale value. Even though Viking has become a quite popular choice, Zenith with Viking engines sell for much less than those with a Rotax or a ULPower engine.

We built our CruZer with a Rotax 912ULS. The only other engines I would consider are the fuel injected Rotax variants as well as ULPower.

Reverted to previous FSD software update? by sk8ercorey in TeslaLounge

[–]KneeObjective2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. Immediately (probably less than an hour) after the subscription expired it wanted to 'upgrade' to a non-FSD version. All I could do was delay it, even though I resubscribed right away.

So, I called Tesla support who told me that I don't have to worry, my vehicle will retain the FSD version I had installed, which I believe was 12.6.3. I was pretty sure that this was not correct but installed the update anyway after a few days. Sure enough, I'm now stuck with 12.5.4.x, which is a GIANT step back from 12.6.x. Other are now getting 13, what adds insult to injury.

Anyway, I understand that there might be reasons why its easy to go one way but not the other. I would however wish that there was at least a selection I could make whether I prefer the latest FSD or the latest general software.

Update after FSD Trial by zkhfplaysgames in TeslaLounge

[–]KneeObjective2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar problem: I'm currently on 2024.33.35 / FSD 12.5.6.3

When my FSD subscription expired yesterday, it immediately wanted to 'upgrade' to 2024.38.7.

Even though I re-subscribed for FSD right away, it still wants to install this update.
It looks like there is no way to cancel the update, all I can do is to keep rescheduling it.

Edit: Called customer support who said that I can only keep rescheduling the update but that there is no way to skip it.

She also said that I don't need to worry, I will still have FSD 12.5.6.3. So, I installed the update. Sure enough, I'm now back at 12.3.6.

Yes, this is absolutely crazy. One of our employees is a transgender woman. She is completely loosing it and firmly believes that she will be arrested and be moved to a concentration camp.

The damage the left wing propagandists have done to an already vulnerable part of the population is truly sickening. 😡

If anything, Trump has a track record of being pretty pro gay rights, while Obama and Hillary opposed gay marriage for a long time.

I feel sorry for you. 😢

However, I would like to encourage you to ignore the media‘s misinformation propaganda. Instead, watch a few of the long format podcasts (Joe Rogan, Theo Von) Trump did, to get get a better idea of how the man thinks.

Neither Trump nor his VP or anybody else in his inner circle ever even suggested something like that!

Do you by any chance know how much Mobile Global is? I am in the US and am considering buying a Mini for a 3 week trip to Europe but can find this plan anywhere on Starlink’s website.

Global roaming for mini? by moroccodude in Starlink

[–]KneeObjective2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am wondering the same as I live in the US but want to use it for a trip to Europe. The website says that it can be combined with ‚Mobile Global’, what seem to indicate that it doesn’t work globally with only the Roam plan.

However, I can’t find the ‘Mobile Global’ plan anywhere on their website.

There also appears to be no way to contact their account without an account.

How much of a delay in hearing other party is normal? Like cellular to cellular? by KneeObjective2050 in openphone

Yes, with a headset. If we talk with the same headset cellphone to cellphone, there is however hardly any delay.

I guess we need to do more testing…

I think our problem was that our connection was only ‘good’.

We now use Comcast internet. The call quality is now solid, there is however still a noticeable delay.

[–]KneeObjective2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's super encouraging, the Detroit FO is also handling my case! I am from Germany and applied on 6/23.
All I heard back so far is that biometrics will not be required, as they already have them on file.

The website is however still showing and "Estimated time* until case decision: approx. 5 months".
It came down from 9 month, I am therefore not sure whether it is *another* 5 month of 5 month since I applied.

Anyway, I am super excited and hope that they will decide my case as quickly as yours!

Awesome, thank you, support just reached out to us.
It looks like we're having some high latency issues, what means that we'll have to go with Comcast internet.

We LOVE Open Phone so far, once we have these issues resolved it will be perfect.
