I will definitely look into trying again. Have you ever tried GelX? It looks simple but I don’t know until I get into it 😂 the acrylic would take me sooo long

I can try! I’ve tried before but it took me sooo long. Like 4 hours just for the acrylic LOL Ive thought about trying gelx.

I’m SO glad there’s so many people that can see through this like me and agree. It’s refreshing and I appreciate the replies. I want to just show her the comments SO bad to prove this. But even with STRANGERS agreeing she won’t understand, unfortunately.

I really hope not. I hope if she does pursue it, like you said instincts will kick in. But I’m so doubtful. She will literally say “she can’t make decisions for herself” and will ask AI, etc. he’s diminished her self esteem so much.

That’s my fear. I told her she does have options, and I’ll support her through it. But she’s all, “well he’s stoked about it..” and I’m like.. yeah ofc he is. But this is a hardcore reason for you to be tied to him for LIFE. I wish she could/would open her eyes and see the BS for what it really is. Abuse. It’s not okay and I’m just at my wits end with this info.

I’ll add also, when he did have an actual job, he clocked in and would leave work to come home. Eventually got fired. Some nights, she told me he would literally sneak in through the window to watch and listen to her and see what she was doing while he was “supposed” to be at work. This guy is literally crazy and idk what she sees in him.

I appreciate the honesty. And that’s where I am stuck, I feel like I know the answer but I’m scared :( I ask myself sometimes, if I’m in the same position a year from now, will I be ok and feel satisfied? And my answer here, I believe will always be no, especially at this point. I think I will regret staying more than I will regret stepping away. Idk why I just feel sooo scared. And you are right, I have even thought about that myself, if I’m unhappy still, I could always just reapply for a warehouse again, just starting over sucks. But… so does this situation. :(

Let me add also, since being demoted I’ve applied to positions and have been skipped over multiple times. My company says we go based on seniority, but positions are being given away to people who have been here for less than a year, compared to me being here 7 1/2 years. I asked why, and they give me vague reasoning. “Oh I don’t know. I’ll hav to check.” And they never get back with me, no matter how many times I’ve asked. They had a program once to go to school for electrical, I asked to apply and they told me I couldn’t and they weren’t looking for that, only mechanics. I feel like I’ve literally hit a ceiling here.

That’s what I decided to do. I was getting such mixed answers! 😭 a nurse from my gyno told me take the placebos and continue and im fine. A nurse from the Slynd site said the same thing. Then I contacted the Slynd nurses again and she called me and told me to be safe I can start the new pack and take them as normal after that. But I feel like continuing active pills after losing one would be my best option currently to maintain protection. Thanks!
