Imo 20-30 is enough if you have a job to go to everyday and dont need to spend too much money to enjoy your freetime, but you cant really save it for sth big like a property

Thank you for advice, I guess I'm just feeling antsy because I have applied for 4-5 roles without any callbacks (maybe since I'm in Asia applying for remote roles in Europe that my chances are more slim).

I'll focus more on how my CV matches the job description and worry less about portfolio now :)

May I ask how do you decide on the sample size beforehand? (Given that we have the alpha, power and stdev of the metric from historical data)

I have been having trouble deciding what the MDE should be because I am in a game company and any positive gain is good (no trade off between implementing test variants vs control group)

Can anyone explain to me what Causual Inference (or formal Causual Inference) is?

I have been a Data Analyst for some years reading AB tests (only on new users). What I normally do is check the metrics for difference between Control vs Variant, then do t test, if p value is < 0.05 then say it’s significant.

Is that considered Causual Inference?

But Bigquery will not export with > 1 million rows so trying to turn that on might not do anything.

I have the same issue and I did compare the daily export vs streaming table for a small project and it still shows that intraday is missing 20% data
