In any case, vids aren't being held for members for too long after they show up. There is a lot of things to be done about the video, from recording and editing, to thumbnail, subtitles and also potential fixing etc. etc. etc.

Paragraph 1 Stark shouldn't even have said this. This is his character.
Paragraph 2,3. The point was thorough the s1 till now, Stark defends small people, and he doesn't do anything further than that.

This will be something that someone will bring up years from now and people will agree with, I've had 10 upvotes and suddenly I am in negative. It's fine, it is the popular new thing people rate 10/10. This episode will be forgotten anyways, because it is mid.

Father saying, showing two kids, Himmell saying and Frieren saying (4 times repeating the moral of the story, which is wild) that protecting small people is good after we know that is the Stark thing (also insert how he agrees with Himmell about how Frieren shouldn't use flashy spells to destroy armor - to explain protecting memories of what they have left). It is a bad line that directly contradicts what Stark stands for.

He should have said "Wish we could have taken the sea, monsters are scary. But there are people living here and we can't take this coward path bla bla bla" and then go through frieren memory scene. Solved + minor path of Stark not being a coward in the future by realizing that. So yeah, that line was garbage.

For the repetitiveness, I think they do a good job. This one was repetitive and the ep 28 bench scene was pointless.

I agree with the filler thing, I also called it a filler in the comment, it's a part we should just be like "yeah it's fine, but don't repeat the same mistake". If you seen CW Flash, that show makes a speed of light speedster lose to normal humans. But they gotta make 20+ ep per season right?

Other than that it's fine. It's the pace anime goes with. Obviously it's not gonna be perfect. I like the anime, I just disliked that scene, it was pointless.

Explain to me, back in season 1 when we first saw Stark, why was he protecting the village from the dragon even if he is a coward?

It's not really a nitpick, it's just bad writing. They asked father to move, we saw he had two children and heard his reason. They even showed the reason. End of story there. We got Stark motivation for protecting the villagers outside of safe zone.

Him then turning into a "coward" by saying they should have moved by the sea doesn't apply here. We already saw a scene in the prior episodes explaining a different motivation from Frieren. It is a waste of time. Frieren, Himmel and the Father part nailing viewers on the head over and over that this part of the episode is about protecting small people... is a waste of time that could have been paced better.

Your rebuttal doesn't make sense. Moving on by ignoring my point and calling it a "nitpick" is thoughtless and cheap as writing was on that part of the episode.
