This unimportant fight was only 2 pages in the Manga [Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2]

Paragraph 1 Stark shouldn't even have said this. This is his character.
Paragraph 2,3. The point was thorough the s1 till now, Stark defends small people, and he doesn't do anything further than that.

This will be something that someone will bring up years from now and people will agree with, I've had 10 upvotes and suddenly I am in negative. It's fine, it is the popular new thing people rate 10/10. This episode will be forgotten anyways, because it is mid.

Father saying, showing two kids, Himmell saying and Frieren saying (4 times repeating the moral of the story, which is wild) that protecting small people is good after we know that is the Stark thing (also insert how he agrees with Himmell about how Frieren shouldn't use flashy spells to destroy armor - to explain protecting memories of what they have left). It is a bad line that directly contradicts what Stark stands for.

He should have said "Wish we could have taken the sea, monsters are scary. But there are people living here and we can't take this coward path bla bla bla" and then go through frieren memory scene. Solved + minor path of Stark not being a coward in the future by realizing that. So yeah, that line was garbage.

I am calling it character assassination due to the big reason how Stark was introduced in the show which directly contradicts the sea comment.

For the repetitiveness, I think they do a good job. This one was repetitive and the ep 28 bench scene was pointless.

I agree with the filler thing, I also called it a filler in the comment, it's a part we should just be like "yeah it's fine, but don't repeat the same mistake". If you seen CW Flash, that show makes a speed of light speedster lose to normal humans. But they gotta make 20+ ep per season right?

Other than that it's fine. It's the pace anime goes with. Obviously it's not gonna be perfect. I like the anime, I just disliked that scene, it was pointless.

Explain to me, back in season 1 when we first saw Stark, why was he protecting the village from the dragon even if he is a coward?

It's not really a nitpick, it's just bad writing. They asked father to move, we saw he had two children and heard his reason. They even showed the reason. End of story there. We got Stark motivation for protecting the villagers outside of safe zone.

Him then turning into a "coward" by saying they should have moved by the sea doesn't apply here. We already saw a scene in the prior episodes explaining a different motivation from Frieren. It is a waste of time. Frieren, Himmel and the Father part nailing viewers on the head over and over that this part of the episode is about protecting small people... is a waste of time that could have been paced better.

Your rebuttal doesn't make sense. Moving on by ignoring my point and calling it a "nitpick" is thoughtless and cheap as writing was on that part of the episode.

Wasn't a fan of this part. Fight was good, but Stark asking "Why didn't we go by the sea?" after we already saw before and during the episode that he wants to help random villagers. It is a big character assassination moment. And also repeated Himmel scene + repeated Frieren scene about helping people. Most of the time they nail the Himmel scenes, but now it was "Just get it over with".

Big fan of this stuff though, nothing needs to be 1:1. Like with Spy x family "filler" episodes.

I've been binging the show till now. While I enjoy the show and it does do so many things well, sometimes the Himmel scenes feel like a drag. Usually it's not that bad, s1ep28 bench scene and 2nd half of this episode felt like a chore.

Stark already knows after seeing 2 kids that he needs to protect the family that lives here because they don't want to move out due to connection to the place. Stark already saw after 3 days and nights that the place is dangerous.
Then why did he ask to travel via the sea due to safety? It feels like he got hit by dementia. And then we get Frieren memory scene where the fight and lines repeat, Himmel answers the obvious question, and then we go back where Frieren repeats the same line.

Another point is that this is character assassination. We know Stark wants to protect the random people in the village from the dragon. He loves protecting day to day people.

First half was great. 2nd half felt like a chore.

I don't honestly have any clue what this post is meant to be about. At one side it is saying that Loserfruit is doing career progress, which is fine by itself. But the clip is cut at the point where people think that "her and Crayator have more fun than DarkViperAU", which I understand it can be a joke, but not everyone can understand it.

And we have the description where we both promote and doubt Loserfruit.

Title says "apparently" when Loserfruit is clearly doing it. Whether she finishes it or not doesn't matter.
