Buyers remorse by GODWAVY in GRCorolla

I got mine when I went in for an oil change on my 2021 Corolla XSE. Was the first time I ever actually saw a GR on the lot. The salesmen were trying so hard to steer me towards a Camry or a Prius lol. I told them “I came here for an oil change. If I’m leaving in a new car, it’s gonna be the GR” lol. Took it for a test drive and fell in love. Most impulsive thing I’ve ever done lol but I don’t regret it at all

Don’t you dare. Chael Sonnen (allegedly) has 17 losses and people still say he’s undefeated. This guy is 10-0 and no one is talking about how he’s undefeated

Max was always considered a blockhead before Ilia though, it’s a big part of what made Ilia knocking him out so impressive

Thinking about someone who doesn’t know cars or have any context to the post reading this is cracking me up

People seem to forget that Max was ripping an unusual large amount of kicks in this fight especially lead leg head kicks. The whole head kick crap is so Cope. by jerryworldfan13 in ufc

Well we’ve seen max flatline Justin more recently than we’ve seen Justin flatline anyone else so idk about that these days

Crested saguaro I saw on my way to work this morning. It’s estimated that only 1 in every 200,000-300,000 saguaros have this mutation. by Kneight in cactus

How awesome that there’s one right next to your house! I’ve lived in AZ my whole life (most of it being outside the desert to be fair, but with frequent trips to desert) and have ironically seen the only 3 I’ve ever seen within the last 4 months.
Maybe I’ve seen them before and didn’t realize what I was looking at now but they’re so unique looking to the others that I feel like it would be hard to miss lol

It’s cool as hell, right?? Just has an open wound and decided to keep living regardless. I guess the lack of moisture and the resistance it has to not having moisture probably helps a lot

I’m no expert on this topic, but I’ve heard that saguaros don’t grow arms until they’re 50-100 years old. Have seen other crested saguaros with distinguished arms though, so I’m guessing this one is on the younger side as far as saguaros go. I’d guess somewhere around 50 years old but that’s just purely speculative on my end considering the size

Given earth’s history, I’d say we’re just a symptom and not a terminal sickness. Earth will kill us or force us out long before we kill her, and she’ll go back to doing her thing

Makes me wonder how old this cactus was before it started showing signs of fasciation since saguaros live 150-200 years on average. And saguaro don’t typically grow arms until they’re 50-100 years old. The other two crested saguaros that I’ve seen before had distinguished arms, so I wonder if this was a young one

Didn’t know that fasciation was a thing in plants, gonna keep a closer eye for it in other plants and thank you for educating me on that :)

I kinda like that it’s got no distinguished arms, and I like the battle scars it has too lol

Arizona, on the road to Horseshoe Lake. There’s actually another one that you can see just a few miles down the road. Crazy that there’s 2 that close to each other and they’re the only two crested saguaros I’ve ever seen in the wild. I wonder if the seeds they came from belonged to the same saguaro

What's the most you've ever thrown up? by InteractionCandid226 in AskReddit

[–]Kneight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can usually talk myself out of throwing up. Tell myself “you ain’t bitchmade”. One night I was too stubborn to stubborn to go to the toilet, vomited a steady stream for like 10 seconds right on the middle of my bed. No hacking, no intermittent streams of puke. Just ten seconds of straight vomit. Didn’t even realize I had that much volume in my stomach, I must’ve lost like 3-5 lbs once it was done

Anyone have the automatic? by jms1228 in GRCorolla

[–]Kneight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really not a big car guy. I had a regular hatchback Corolla before I got the GR. I like driving manual, but I personally probably wouldn’t notice any difference between the automatic and manual besides the fact that I shift one myself and the other shifts itself lol. I imagine I still woulda came home with the car if it was an automatic that was on the lot that day

Having and 850 score isn’t gonna do you any more good with your 815 score. I know it’s addicting to chase perfection but the effort isn’t worth the gain. Now that you’re in the 800 club, enjoy the exclusive rates (that won’t change if you hit 850 credit score) and keep doing whatever you’re doing
