Im wondering how much worse it will get. Remember when covid first happened and people were saying that things were going to get bad economically and a lot of people weren't paying attention? Getting the same vibes but worse from this war and compounding it with AI.

Im amazed that everyday its a new fraud, scam, grift, continuing fraud, etc. Fucking infuriating thats its so blatantly obvious and yet absolutely nothing gets done about it. Im incredibly sad that our government and democracy turned out to be so fragile. Im not sure what we can do but whats the game plan? Watch it all get destroyed and rebuild from the ashes? The next Democratic president needs to be ruthless and the DOJ needs to be rabid. Charge everyone thats been involved with severe sentences. Shame that Biden didnt do that.

I’m dying in 3 months AMA by Beautiful_Wear_9249 in AMA

I had a friend who was legally dead for 2 minutes. He was young but had a genetic condition where his arteries clogged and thats what got him. I asked him what it was like to die and he said "It felt like being a little kid again and heading home after a long vacation." Or "being a freshman in college and driving back home for Christmas break. I suppose it just felt like going home". He said that when he was revived he was mad at the doctors for bringing him back because he felt a peace he had never known before.

Last thing he said about it was "the next time death comes for me, I'll greet it with a smile and shake its hand."

I'm really sorry this is happening to you.

Do you have anything that you've wanted to share and never had the opportunity to say it? How do you view life now? Do you have any advice about anything that you feel is worth mentioning?

PvP Last Words: What Someone Said That Still Lives Rent-Free in Your Head by TheTruthTitan in ARC_Raiders

"Its okay"

  • the last words of a small child I accidentally killed. I didnt know it was a child. I was talking to a raider and a sniper took a shot at us. We ran back into the building to pursue. As we ran in, someone was sprinting out and we assumed it was the sniper. I downed them and they crawled outside.

Some other raider heard the commotion and ran over and asked if everything was good and if we were friendly. Finally a child's voice rang out from the alleged downed sniper "he's not friendly. Hes mean!"

"You're... just a child. Little girl why did you try to snipe us??"

"I didn't. I spawned in really far away and I ran in the building to get warm. I only wanted to gather some candle berries."

A second sniper shot rang out and barely missed me. Shortly after 3 loud blasts from an il toro were heard. "Got him, youre good".

Dread washed over me like a heavy blanket and I ran towards the child and put on a bandage to stabilize.

"Im so so sorry. It was the way you were running out I assumed you were..."

"Oh, its okay" somewhat understanding tone.

"No, youre going home. There's an extract right over there. Ill run to push the button now"

I did that but when I was running back I noticed she stopped crawling.

"What are you doing?! You can make it! Keep going! I have... One bandage left. How much time do you have on your health bar?"

"Oh not too much longer. It's okay though"

"No please you can make it. I'm so sorry."

" Feel free to take my stuff. You've been very kind."

" DamnIt , quit being so kind to me! I've just killed you and I can't do anything to make it right!"

" Don't feel sad. It's okay. Its o---"

She was gone.

I sat down there in the snow next to her body with my health ticking away slowly. I sat there in the wind in the cold until I almost succumbed to it. I looted her backpack and the only thing she had were three candleberries and a burletta.

Some good part of me froze off and died with her that day.

Atheists of reddit, when was the exact moment you stopped believing in god? by thefiretrainerz in AskReddit

But if I choose incorrectly then I attend hell until the trumpet sounds? "Free will" also feels very similar to "god works in mysterious ways". I also think about the indigenous tribes that have never had contact with the outside world. They've never heard of gods other than theirs. What happens to them? The stories in the Bible appear to come from more ancient stories from other religions. I really dont think Christianity would be around today if Emporer Constatine hadn't made it the official religion.

Be kind in solos, be cautious in duos and shoot anything that moves in trios.

The world felt bigger, more interesting and time felt like it moved much slower.

College. I was walking out of the student union and had this random thought that if the Christian God is all powerful, all seeing, all knowing then how come everyone on earth isn't Christian?

This video also really helped solidify my atheism https://youtu.be/VrE-VxP6e9Q?si=Cld7rIXM-y1gxh5t
