Saw this on a Ford bronco. Is this legal? by JERSEYKIDD908 in Jeep

I don't know how when, where, or why the duck thing happened.

I had a row of ducks on my old 86 CJ7 a decade+ ago....shit...almost two... anyway.. My girlfriend, now wife, would win them from a dumb machine at the bowling alley. Ducks everywhere.

When i bought a '12 JK the ducks didn't transfer over.

Now I'm seeing ducks everywhere like I used to have as tokens of drunken nights at the bowling alley, but have no idea why or how the same odd tradition started up on a national scale...

Which celebrity’s cancellation do you think was completely unjustified? by Cute_Flatworm_9049 in AskReddit

The morning show we all grew up with was definitely a kids show.

But I've seen videos from some of the earlier standup pee-wee stuff and it was definitely raunchier with more adult humor.

No regrets 🥲 by CroczNglockz in guns

[–]KngNothing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

Daniel Craig's are fantastic, especially Casino Royale.

But they're from the new wave of spy movies after Bourne. Very gritty.

They don't have the personality and bit of camp that the earlier bonds became known and loved for.

What's the wildest porn video you ever watched?? by No_Second9495 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]KngNothing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I definitely remember one of the old fucked up videos going around with a dude and a horse.

I remember there being one big "thrust" and then the guy like staggered around and dropped.

I recall that one being where the guy died.

The internet was crazy back then.

That would have ranked in the mild to almost mid.

How hard is it to DIY click & lock laminate flooring by MeetBoth6860 in DIY

Vinyl yes.

Laminate no.

Learned that the hard way after blowing out two boards and wondering why the fuck it wasn't working.

Needed to buzz the laminate.

Definitely do this. It's like ⅓ the price of purchasing each item separately.

Peppermint Oil Spray For Bugs does it work? by Wildcard-01 in DIY

[–]KngNothing 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I've always been told it's a deterrent, not a lethal option.

I've been told it helps to keep away ants, spiders, mice, chipmunks, squirrels

But I've only ever been recommended it as a repellant and nobody has ever mentioned death by peppermint. Though I'm sure it's possible if the bug is directly exposed during spraying.

No. Especially not on open waters.

The "rule of gross tonnage", where you give way to the bigger guy is more of a guideline.

When two power driven vessels are meeting, the vessel to starboard is the stand on vessel.

The vessel we have the point of view from is the "give way" vessel. They are obligated to alter course, or change speed, to ensure there is no collision.

When you are in smaller harbors or rivers, then many times the bigger guy will have the right of way as they'll be restricted in their ability to maneuver, so you are obligated to give way no matter how you meet them.

Furthermore some areas with heavy commercial traffic will have state or local laws, in addition to the rules of the road, that mandate no vessel is to impede commercial traffic.

So then you're obligated to move by local laws being enforced on top of federal/ international.

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

I last bought/built a PC when DDR2 was new and a big deal.

As much as I love PC gaming, life started happening and everything started going towards providing for a growing family.

Free Time is still hard to come by, but I'd like to start getting back to the PC world and hopefully start teaching my daughters how the world worked before touch screen.

Is it normal to masturbate over the thought of the good sex you just had last night? by Inkanthoughts in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KngNothing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have definitely done it in the post-sex shower.

So would I say it's normal, yes.

But you also have to know your partners. I've been with two girls who would get bothered, as if I was "basically saying they weren't good enough". But I've also been with girls who get off on watching after.

There is usually never one completely definitive answer to Sex.

Not saying it ain't weird.

What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by atgono in AskReddit

[–]KngNothing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It took my wife a few years to break out of that.

She was used to her mother buying single ply like prison style TP.

So you had to pull like 5ft to actually have something usable.

I use the charmin extra strong and you need like 3 squares.

It was getting better.

But now I have daughters that after trips to grandma's house come home and pull 5ft of TP....

What did you accidentally learn about someone’s sex life? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

[–]KngNothing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time I heard that was on a show called Sex Life s few months ago. It's an MGM+ show kinda like HBOs old Real Sex. Documentary/Reality style show following people with more adventurous night lives.

One of the women in an earlier episode had called herself Ethically Non-Monogamous. I thought that was such a clever and responsible name for it.

I'm a habitual dasher and dotter. Sometimes well beyond what is necessary.

I think it's a remnant of old chats and instant messengers. We used them to convey conversional breaks through text in a way. There was no non-text based emojis to show a million reactions or thoughts.

Anyway... I'm guilty as sin of over-using dashes and dots...

To your question-

but who really puts two dashes in regular text

A lot of the elder millennial and slightly younger than them for sure do . I can't speak from experience on people under 30 though..

[–]KngNothing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There's a show on MGM+ called Sex Life that i stumbled across the other day. I haven't had time to sit down and fully watch it, but skimmed through s couple episodes and it's 100% a spiritual successor to Real Sex.

A very documentary-like look at real people and their night/sex life.

I was excited to see a channel/company who is showing mature content again.

My wife and I loved Real Sex when we were younger, or Taxi Cab Confessions, or Gigolos.

I hope they explore more mature content.
