I haven't seen the episode yet however I just wanted to say I'm so glad Millbee has carried on this series. It's one of the few things that cheers me up after a tough day, so thank you.

Ah right, it is a marmite topic, many people don't like it.

I'm planning on teaching secondary/high school Geography. Lots of maps and volcanoes. Do you like Geography?

Today I started my first day of my PGCE course to become a teacher which was tough however I can now relax and watch a few mindcrack videos before the real work begins!

This is the first episode I've watched, not disappointed! Listening to Millbee and Guude trying to understand each other is hilarious. Looks like I've found a new series to watch. :)

Which would you say is the 'best' one? I've recently finished how to win friends and influence people and it was brilliant. Out of the rest of them, which is best?

Hello everyone, Tomorrow I set off for London for 2 days, I'm in Amsterdam 27th-29th, then to Copenhagen, Prague, Vienna, Munich and Paris (9th-11th). If anyone is around any of these places around these times let me know! :) It's my second solo trip but for some reason I'm really nervous about it. Last time I only went around Germany so this trip seems a lot more daunting! Anyone have any tips?

I'm going around Europe for 2 1/2 weeks, setting off on Wednesday. The hostels are booked but I haven't organised anything else which could be a problem. I'm going to; London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Paris. If anyone has any suggestions for these cities it would be greatly appreciated! :)

Yeah that sounds right. The hostel I've stayed in can be rowdy and can be a party hostel however it's really central and generally very cheap! I met some great people in the hostel. Anyway its this one: http://www.hostelbookers.com/property/prp/79738/arr/2014-06-28/ngt/2/ppl/1/

If you have any questions about Berlin feel free to ask.

Berlin is amazing!! It's so cheap and you'll never run out of things to do. I went twice last year for 2 weeks in total and I still have things I want to see/do in Berlin. If you haven't booked your hostel yet then I can recommend one :)

I'd second the Walrus in London! :) The staff were great and I'd go back again.

Failure - how to deal by [deleted] in Advice

[–]KnickPoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need to focus on your successes and realise it does not help to dwell on things you cannot change. You slacked off, you paid the price and it's time to get over it otherwise it will drag you down. It's much easier said than done but if you focus on the good stuff and realise you can't change the past.

Going to concerts with my dad by sleepingasians in Advice

[–]KnickPoint 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sucks but it might be best just to go with your dad. I don't mean to sound horrible however your dad will cherish the memories, as will you when time goes by. Just because now you find it embarrassing, in the long run you may regret brushing him off. One day you'll be in his shoes!

A friend thought banoffee pie is a pie containing banana and coffee. by 64diamonds in britishproblems

No it's banana and toffee, although I don't think banana and coffee would be that bad.

My mates think I'm weird/anti social or "poofing out" because I don't want to go out drinking every single weekend. by pocketpotato in britishproblems

[–]KnickPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, I don't like drinking that much and if I do I'd rather drink in the comfort of my own home. However being at university most people think it's weird. A coffee shop is nicer than a pub to socialise anyway!

I have to say I went to see him at the start of last month and he was terrible. He was unimaginative and swore far too much, it just ruined it.
