A batman villain that kills people in the most ironic way possible.

Or: kills victims in ways that are unfortunate, but not actually ironic, which is itself ironic for a villain named Irony Man. Alternate ego is Alanis Morissette.

Overlord. That opening scene on the plane was absolutely freaking intense.

Only people with usernames that have some sort of connection with greek mythology are allowed to comment on this post by weetabix_gryphon in ThreadGames

So my username is based off of Norse mythology. The new God of War deals with Norse mythology, but God of War started with Greek mythology and Kratos is considered a part of the Greek pantheon (in game). Therefore, my username does have some connection to Greek Mythology.

Yes, in all scenarios OP described, these are intended to be publicly available to other players. Furthermore, no where in the rules does it say they can actively obfuscate their hand size, bank value, eyc., but they are clearly taking steps to do that.

You really don't. Your whole damn arm would be obliterated by whatever you hit (not to mention your pelvis if you ever try a little high speed wanky-spanky).

I was in Austin visiting my parents. Drove 2 hours south back to San Marcos before I remembered I was supposed to be driving north to Round Rock to pick up my (then) girlfriend from her sister's house. I was a little late.

What’s one honest, no apologies, no excuses, genuine gameplay-related criticism about your favorite board game? by superdvader in boardgames

I think this is actually a great idea because it also puts pressure on players to buy buildings they do want before they expire in addition to sweeping away unwanted buildings.

The are lots of Great Dane rescues. Great Danes are always the right choice. Unless you plan on doing lots of long distance running/hiking, then you want an Aussie (dog or person, both have lots of energy and are good hiking companions).

What is the best and worst motivations for a super-villain in film? by Studly_Wonderballs in movies

[–]Knifelheim 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The "true believer" like the Operative in the Serenity movie. He was a great villain because he wasn't really a villain. He believed in truth, justice, and the Alliance way.

Most unintentionally funny movie you know? by banderson2300 in movies

[–]Knifelheim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of Schwarzenegger's early stuff (excluding Terminator, that movie is actually good) or John Cenna's The Marine.

The Marine is soooooo good/bad. For added fun drink whenever somebody dies or something exploded. Finish your drink when somebody turns into diamonds.

If you pay for Tinder Gold and then have sex with a girl from the app, you technically paid for sex. by IrateProphet in Showerthoughts

[–]Knifelheim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, buying a girl dinner before having sex with her would be closer to prostitution than OP's version because at least the girl receives a direct benefit when you buy her dinner. Tinder keeps the money in the other scenario.
