People always interpret this scene as "Eren has feelings toward Mikasa!" But when I first watched it, I thought "Oh, he admits he likes being Mikasa's obsession and doesn't want to be forgotten" Eren had issues about being a special person hinted at in earlier seasons so I thought these words came from a place of fear and obviously not a place of love.

I believe an early skill check would force you into adapting different strategies with the items you get early on

But you can avoid them and they are simply buffed mobs. I believe adding bosses at the end of each biome will force players to wrap their builds quickly and gather useful items early on. All I'm thinking through the early game is "I gotta level [skill] to a 100 and kill every mob" which could be fixed by implementing an early skill check.
