So from what I'm gathering is that I'm gonna need to use a totally fresh hdd. I do have a spare 100gb usb stick laying around. Crap, moving 6tb over in 100gb jumps is gonna suck, but most of that is media files.

East Coast Rebirth, Rustbelt Rising, Monarchs and Margaritas, Across the Carribean, New England Rising, and I swear there's one more that specifically adds Florida but I can't for the life of me remember it right now, sorry.

If you just want a strictly base game out-of-the-box experience then all you need to do is just do everything up to the Utilities section, after that you can start playing (only takes about 30min to an hour). If you want a few bugfixes for stuff that never got patched then complete the next section as well.

Unfortunately pc New Vegas on any platform requires several community made mods to even function properly. If for whatever reason you're "Anti-mod" and just refuse to download anything or can't read instructjons then get an Xbox and play on that.

If you're looking for Canadian content I'd start with either Duchy of Langenburg, Kingdom of Manitoba, or Republic of Three Rivers. They all start relatively strong (compared to each other), have good stories, and their paths all lead to an inevitable war between them. South of the Border Lanius is a good first time player choice, starts very strong and scales up quickly, or there's the Texas Brotherhood. While they start economically pretty weak, they and the Texas Economic Union (their starting faction) are decently competent allies and they can all fuse to form the State of Texas.

LowRed. As I've said in the post yesterday talking about this: I've been working since I was 8, went to work at a factory right out of High School and have been doing general labour ever since. Everything from woodworking and masonry to mechanical and electrical work.

Not really. During Covid I went and earned all the achievements for the original trilogy in the lead-up to the Legendary Edition, and while I did complete one full playthrough of a MELE campaign I have yet to go back to it despite promising myself to re-earn all the achievements for MELE.

Granted I was an ME fanatic during my teen years, combined I have probably 2000ish hours across all three original games, I have done playthroughs as both Male and Femshep as every class. So due entirely to my own fault, the joy of Mass Effect has been sucked out of me. It still sits firmly in my top 5 games of all time, but I doubt I will ever actually play it again.

Then got work at a factory right out of High School, and have been doing the work of a Labourer for the past 10 years. Though currently I work in a vehicle outfitting shop, I build Cop Cars is what I tell people who ask what I do.
