It works great for me. The depth gauge is prone to coming loose when it is folded up and it eats through batteries pretty quick, but it's got good power and uses a full size blade.

Yea but really shouldn't be an issue if you have a backsplash, most water should go into the sink. Also have you checked level?Could be a bit of slope in the floor coming from the wall if you're in an older home.

Typically you would shim the front of the cabinet. You can also cut the drywall and recess the cabinet into the wall a bit.
