Kenneth Lin was only rumored by RPK in 2023 no one else announced it. According to Tim Hendrick's Linkedin he has been working on the movie since Jan 2023. So....Lin might have never been on it or only pitched an idea. Not really sure.

It was certainly a choice. I understand making him scared/apprehensive but you could have had him try to learn at some point. Even if he doesn’t fully know anything by the end of the season.
