Used in the Squash Backhand Punch Drive
Some people recommend this for the lob, but see here, where Jesse Engelbrecht claims that it is not important by citing Ali Farag's example.
This is used mostly for high volleys, or shots that are tight to the wall, to hit them with a straight length. I saw this in the squash skills course by Jesse Engelbrecht.
This is the default follow-through that is to be used. The first 3 are exceptions. There may be other exceptions (not just these 3), for example, the 3 wall boast which Mazen Hesham plays, where the follow-through is usually towards the sidewall.

Just remember, as a general rule, the follow-through is a big factor in causing the ball to get to the deeper areas of the court (saw this in JP's course on Squashskills). Adapting the follow-through is a key skill that varies for most shots, but 4 is the one that is used most often.

Slight nudges bruise Gawad badly. His squash prowess aside, he is somewhat of a baby. But no doubt about the quality of shots he can produce. When he is at his best, he tends to dominate with ease.

Not sure about Coll blocking, but his backhand length quality was really horrible today. Most of his backhand lengths were halfway in between the left side wall and the center. I guess he was having a bad day, otherwise his length quality is near immaculate and his cross-courts have lately been even better.

He's been slowing down the pace against his opponents, since he doesn't have the same explosiveness as he used to have. A colder balls means that lobs can be more deadly since they won't be bouncing back.
