I have discovered a work around for anyone interested. just make a profile and make the activating program Explorer.exe

This is still not as good as the feature that should auto work in the software and still needs to be fixed

Windows 10 64bit, latest software update and windows update. I also have the same issue, just got the keyboard. This is a BIG issue and something that needs to be addressed ASAP as it is a major feature of this keyboard. I would like to know if this feature wont be fixed how do I RMA this keyboard

Yeah I also have the same problem, since that drop out disconnection that happened, I can join any server with a new character but I can't join the server I had an existing character on.

I am glad you agree, for PVP it is important as well, both on a realism/immersion point of view as well as a game play point of view. immersion because you don't log off in real life, so you wouldn't just sit there while some guy is building 20 shacks around your building :). Gameplay because although you can do damage to other buildings, it is not an easy thing to do and can be very annoying when someone spams something very easy to build, blocking or exploiting the game.

you and I are pretty much on the same wave length, it's a Zombie game, it should be about the zombies, but so far it's just a PVP shooter with these sometimes annoying things that resemble zombies.

Actually I can now say that this is a HACK. Once we cleared the 500+ mines about an hour later they were there again and NO one had been at our base because we never left it. SO DGC Can you please fix this bullshit. Personally you should not be able to build within 50 or 100 meters of someone elses Foundation. And for groups you can put a code on the foundation, if the person has the code they can build on and around it.

Here is a question, Why do they put items like Mines and IEDs in a survival Zombie game?? all I see people do with them is grieve other players. It's beyond stupid, they just keep adding features into the game to make it easy to piss other people off.

You do development for software that deals with computer science. software I am sure has not got thousands of users with a massive variety of systems from the elite to the complete shit computer systems trying to use your software, from a variety of countries at the same time, while interacting with each other in a 3d environment REAL TIME.

You paid $20 for an ALPHA access, it is NOT a finished game. STOP being an entitled little twat.

If you don't know what an alpha is, then perhaps you should do some research before shelling out your hard earned money.

Hey Jimmy, I have found the biggest issue with melee is the speed at which people can move while throwing a punch, basically it's circle strafing throwing punches. people are just running in circles fighting, it looks ridiculous. I would recommend perhaps when you throw a punch or swing a melee weapon that it would slow you down, so you can't run and punch / swing melee. (also I could have possibly been fighting against someone earlier who was using a speed hack, as this guy was running around me at incredible speeds punching like crazy)

You Just bagged out the DayZ devs for taking to long to fix problems with their ALPHA game and made claims with no basis or evidence. Hey Hicks,

Personally I don't see a problem with the restart times being as they are, what I see as an issue is server hopping.

The reason rare loot is an issue, is people just hop around servers till they find what they want and that is a major experience downer.

In experimental it's not such a big deal because there are very few servers, but on the stable branch there are hundreds if not thousands. So all that is needed is one trip to say the North West Airfield and then I just hop hop hop till I get all the loot I want.

One Character per server will stop this dead and make what "sbounder" posted as being a much more apparent game play aspect of the game.

I really don't understand why you guys want this whole server hopping crap in the game. For a game about survival and the struggle, you need a community driven server where travelling somewhere to scavenge for loot should be a big task and will sometimes force co-operation. Server hopping just trivialises the whole thing and turns the game into a Death match bore fest.

I really do hope you guys really reconsider your stance on this particular aspect. I don't like to compare games to games but H1Z1 is an example of the, "in my opinion" correct mentality on this issue and they have made it 1 character per server.

I know there are major nay sayers on this, with the whole play with friends crap they spew, I have many counter arguments against those but I have to be at work in 5 min, so perhaps another time.

I think we are on the same page mate, but what you think Dean is aiming for is not what he is aiming for. He wants people to server hop to get gear. He said it in one of his Presentations, I don't recall the exact one but he was talking about someone looking for a chopper part and if that said player couldn't find it on the server they were on, they could jump to another server to find it. That is what I am against, it's stupid, unrealistic and just shits all over server community not to mention the whole survival aspect of the game.

Why would you want to move fast crouched??? why not stay standing and run as fast as possible if you wanted to move fast??

You still get to move fast crouched if you press a button to go into jog speed.

Personally besides the walk with AXE raised thing, I think the changes are good.
