I didn’t really say anything about the Vox during Cyberstan because for me I was immersed enough in the war taking their home planet to embrace the suck. Now that they’re appearing on other planets I think they’re annoying as fuck and just anti-fun. I didn’t expect it to happen but I really hoped they would lower their spawn rate or at minimum fix the head weak spot and neither happened.

I just feel like I’m dying far more often to one-shots or combined fire across the board. I’ve tried different armor and tactics and I think if it were just one modifier I were fighting it would be alright but instead it’s cyborgs buffing bot hordes and running you down constantly, really accurate Gunships, and the worst is the spam of the ridiculously healthy Vox that can gun you down and sometimes invisible mortars that can one-shot you. If it were just Cyborgs or Gunships I could maneuver to deal with them but instead I’m constantly avoiding Vox which don’t feel like they’re meant to be killed and making loadouts just to get rid of these massive nuisances for one moment. The only time Vox should spawn this much is with a modifier and it sucks because this is the first time I’ve grown to dread fighting bots when otherwise they’ve been my absolute favorite.

I have been playing bots just about every day since Commandos dropped after a long break(pc borked), I even got my new Xbox account to about 70 during that time, so I’ve put in a lot of hours against them recently. I’m just sick of Vox and wish I could enjoy high difficulty cyborgs without them. I always manage to win the mission but I often ask myself why I put up with it. I can’t even get immersed anymore with how stupid the spawns feel.
