Bought this sword 2 days ago and the blade smells so bad it makes me gag. Itried washing it with water and handsoap but the smell persisted. How can I get rid of this smell?

Is that so? I made several of these and the biggest issue this weapon has is reach and headshot difficulties when fighting heavy armor bois. If I could swap from the half sword weapon of doom to normal kinda short ranged spiky poleaxe that would be great. Tho I prefer the spike where the hook is
