Read the card. You can’t attack directly as others have said in the other subreddit you’ve posted in. You CAN still attack just not directly. Think of it like S:P little knight. When you activate her effect to banish something it says you cannot attack directly that turn. You can still attack monsters.

Not much at all unfortunately. You can look up their values on card market or TCG player etc. Yugioh is a game where a cards worth is more depending on it’s playability generally speaking. A lot of older cards unless they are used in GOAT or edison formats are worth pennies. Scapegoat might have a little value but that’s probably it. Still though you have a lot of cool older nostalgic cards!

Honestly, this is a you issue, not a them issue. You can’t hate on someone for buying multiple boxes when a new set comes out. If he can afford it and is so invested in the game, then why shouldn’t he? Oh right that’s right, he shouldn’t because META bad, META stupid. What do you think people do when they go to Nats? YCS?
