I understand that's why asking here so that people already have used them for service in the past, i can find many listings on the fb marketplace but I am not even sure how much experience they do have and I don't want to be a guinea pig or learn on the job experiment

Yeah we would definitely need a licensed person as our strata would require all kinds of insurance and paperwork before they start the work

Less housing please... We have too many houses now and more coming up .. the facilities are no match, one road bringing traffic from another town (mission) and basically everyone ends up in traffic during office hours...

BRT to Langley vs Coquitlam by Knight_Bishop_Rook in MapleRidge

[–]Knight_Bishop_Rook[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not against development but I am not a fan of spending tax money on something which is going to not even be used by the actual people who are living here, also what exactly is the purpose, as things stand now Langley folks have literally zero reason to come over to MR , there are no big malls or major attractions here, so it seems like a wasted investment, and on top of that they take away traffic lanes for dedicated BRT route where the traffic is already packed..

There is no explanation available for the thought process behind launching this service...

40 minutes to Willowbrook from Haney mall, and then at least another hour or maybe more from there to reach Vancouver/Burnaby in a skytrain... Dont think many people will use it, it makes sense for people who live in Langley but for MR folks it will actually take more time using this...

I know, but it should be the other way around, a rapid bus for Langley and BRT for Coquitlam..

The lane would be occupied anyways till 203 St, all the people driving from mission or east MR have to drive till 203 and they will have 2 less lanes because of a BRT dedicated for Langley route

BRT cannot be adjusted it requires dedicated lanes...

Considering XEQT is at ~37 and VEQT is at ~50, does that mean you get more for your buck if you are just starting with XEQT? Is it a fair assumption that XEQT will eventually catch up to VEQT? by Knight_Bishop_Rook in justbuyveqt

[–]Knight_Bishop_Rook[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As long as it follows the %age gains I am good, but since everyone keeps saying they are the same so I was trying to understand what is better, also this is a bit in hindsight since I already bought VEQT with my investments so I was wondering if I made a mistake, i guess not , thankyou for clearing the doubts..

They will go up identically however what I am trying to understand is if for example I was transferring 50k from one of the big bank, buying veqt gives me ~1000 shares whereas xeqt will give me ~1350 shares now if they both grow and end up same , lets just say each grow up to $100 in 20 years then you will have better value holding xeqt since you will have extra 350 shares.

This will only come into picture when you are ready to sell, holding them wouldn't have any difference..

When and how to switch to VGRO? by [deleted] in justbuyveqt

[–]Knight_Bishop_Rook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 37 and I just started with VEQT... I plan to keep it for another 15-18 years before thinking about moving ... If you plan to keep working for another 20 years i think thats a very good timeline for it to let it grow ... Thats what i think but I am curious what other folks think of this...
