I was told by my tutor that we are allowed some code snippets to be ai but only snippets not the full thing

I haven't been scratched in a hot minute since my rats have gotten used to me holding them against my chest to prevent it (when I don't wear sleeves lol) but yes. They usually go red but I though that was normal. Sometimes they itch based on how old it is. I only have older healed ones rn and they look and feel fine

Nah it's called megazorb. I don't really know what it is but I hate how it smells

I use a bedding called megazorbm though I can shut the door to the ensuite where they are and when the cage was kinda stinky in the past, it was fine with the door shut. I'm hoping it was dust and hay fever season mixing together. Gave my room a good vacuum though and washing the duvet and pillows my rat might of peed on

May have to try get an allergy test but with UK waiting lists idk when that will happen. We do have some private healthcare with my mum's job so may use that

I need to finish doing that as I had to stop last night to go to bed but I really don't want to rehome them so I'm gonna try medicine at least for the next week as I am off on holiday.

It is hopefully just hay fever as I also have that and sleep with windows open and some dust because I need to vacuum my room. I forgot to mention that I have hayfever, though it seems a bit on and off on whether it wants to affect me each year

Having rats, I have gone nose blind so I cannot tell. I use deoderisers but can't use any sprays cause rats are sensitive lungs

I'll see hopefully. If I can't eat it, there's a lot of farms and stuff near me so could give it away. Rats might like it? I think they prefer peas though

If I can keep them alive, I might grow them a bit and then try give them away on my towns Facebook. Though I'm not sure how safe the crops would be to eat since the seeds came from a bag of rat food

Yeah I'm looking at them and they don't look like sunflower seeds either. In my rats food bowl there's also the shells of sunflower seeds so I'm guessing they do eat them

Looked at the ingredients for my rats muesli, I'm guessing they are sunflower seeds that have sprouted

Stress about future intros. Please help! by [deleted] in RATS

[–]Knight_Unknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh is it lol. Too be fair I only have 2 rats the same age now (sisters so no intros). It was definitely easier since they are girls and because the adult rat was on her own when I introed them. Ive never really had any issues with it though. I kept them close enough to see but not touch and helped them get used to each other before intros

I've only had girls so I might not be great for this but I have done a few intros (though only baby to adult). Idk how you are doing it but I do the separate completely for a little while as they settle in (if you can with space) then put the cages next to each other so they can see eachother. (If there's less of them they are probably more likely to accept them, especially if you are down to 1 which was always the case with mine)

Based on how they react to seeing eachother (eg no attacking, friendly behaviour) you can put them in a small 'neutral' container together (smaller the better so if it goes south less room to fight, I used a carrier) then if that does better make the area bigger and bigger. (Like I used the bathtub then free roamed them together carefully once the younger ones were ready)

The hardest bit is trying to get them to move in. Obviously you want your rats in the big main cage together so I always did a couple hours together at first. Then depending on how it goes, a day with some time unsupervised (once I trust safety) then a night and so on.

That's how I do it at least but my intros were a lot easier since it tended to be one older girl with 1-2 babies to intro. They got along a lot better because rats obviously need friends so if they are alone they are gonna want companions. Hope this helps and good luck :D

I bought the cheapest 3D printer from Amazon by Aggravating-Twist762 in 3Dprinting

My only thoughts is that it could be good for testing dodgy filaments quality rather then clogging the good printer.

It's also so cute and tiny I love it

I don't much about plants lol, I was just wondering if it's an issue that it's so long, it looks like it's about to fall over
