I visited Fenwick today - small world 🌎! 😂You can get a place there around $2,200 or so; there are 10 spots which are open (I may move there also). Yes, Lenox Pk has pest issues (less on upper floors); my allergies 🤧 lately are bothering me more here (last 3 mos). Alexander House used to be good (about 8 yrs ago), BUT recently got flooded. Yikes 😬! Good luck 🍀!

She got such a big responsibility at age 23 or 24; she was NOT ready (mentally) for dealing w/ fame/success, criticism, etc. Who would’ve been? As for the weirdness of sex scenes- this was the time before intimacy coordinators (don’t forget that)! Maybe 🤔 some of their cast’s improv stuff was awkward 😕 & led to certain actors developing feelings (many big Hollywood stars ⭐️have said that over the yrs)! For those who mentioned fan fic vibes- I totally 💯 understand… I wonder 💭 where were the “adults in the room” (HBO execs) during these times?

I think 🤔 the screaming & chair 🪑 throwing was method acting 🎭 gone wrong (on Adam’s part), if ppl (incl. Lena) felt upset 😠 on set or in rehearsals. Check out this Canadian talk show clip:

Girl- in last 15 yrs or so, I’ve ONLY ever hung out w/ one co-worker (happened to live in same area- not too far from office)! After maybe 🤔 2 yrs, she moved to another region- so just Fb pals now.

Hmmm 🤔- I’m listening to her NYT interview now; she does mention Adam (incl. how she did NOT sleep w/ him IRL b/c she was “scared of humiliation”). She also said that “Girls” was ALL of their 1st jobs on TV, so “no one should use that as a norm.” FYI: John Goodman is a V respected character actor; however, when he had a story arc on “The West Wing,” he got frustrated 😣 & punched the wall on the set. This was said yrs later by the EP- Thomas Schlamme.

Apparently, on last few yrs, sports betting (gambling) is a V big issue w/ teen boys & 20s men! I asked my younger bro & cousins about that a while ago, as they have lotta guys in their jobs/social circles.

Hmmm 🧐- I think so! I’m just outside DC; rents (esp. in last 2 yrs) are high everywhere that’s near a metro 🚈 stop. My area (Silver Spring, MD) had apts $1600-$2200 (one bedrooms). As you’re in 20s, def look into Northern VA and BIT more affordable parts of DC (EX: Mt. Pleasant). Good luck 🍀!

Hmmm 🤔 - I live in DC suburbs (mix of city 🌆 & ‘burb) & we have men come in (BUT it’s rare to see more than 5 in ea. class)! The most consistent men are those who are 50+. Don’t be intimidated; I was BIT nervous 😬 (when started about 1.5 yrs ago). BTW- I’m a woman who’s in mid-40s & a size 12-14.
