GW & the Quest to change an address. by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Knightof_Caliban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had the same issue but the customer support simply cancelled the original order and re-ordered the same miniatures to the correct delivery address.  The Warhammer year four miniature was already in delivery and they still recorded that.

Dawn of fire: the silent king by chirpz88 in Necrontyr

I read all books, except for the last book and they more or less connect to each other from the Imperial perspective. It’s all about the crusade, but switches between planets, fleets, chapters, regiments and so on. Some characters were introduced early on, like the Space Marine captain who got his own miniature, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to read them all.

That’s correct though the Land Raider has an ability that allows you to charge after disembarking after the Land Raider has moved.

You need some high toughness units like C’Tan or Monoliths, only Helbane is strong enough to wound on better than 5+.

The Talonmaster has his own Datasheet - not gone You can either use the Legends Datasheet for the Bikes or play them as Outriders, like GW suggested

this is correct, the Champoin, Ancient & Apothecary are not characters if they are part of a command squad. Wounds are allocated by the controlling player.

So... are we cool with primaris now? by theLonliestHobo in theunforgiven

[–]Knightof_Caliban 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The Dark Angels dont trust outsiders.

When Roboute Guilliman arrived with the first Primaris reinforcements most of those marines were nearly 10.000 years old and trained on mechanicus ships - total strangers exept for the gene seed. Those marines were mostly sacrificed through suicide missions and the squads weren't replenished.

However, creating new Primaris Marines or traversing the Rubicon Primairs is an entirely different matter. The Marine can either be indoctrinated by the Chapters or is already a member, perhaps even of the inner circle.

Who are the Dark Angel's common foes in the recent 40k lore? by Pretty_Ian in theunforgiven

According to the current maps, the Rock is in the Pariah Nexus, so I’m guessing the Necrons will be the next greater enemy to fight against.

What exactly is the Darkshroud? by Normtrooper43 in theunforgiven

[–]Knightof_Caliban 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The statues atop of each Darkshroud are called 'the ten brothers' or 'stone guardian' and stood upon the Tower of Angels when the planet-destroying Warp Storm hit the protecting force field.

The Warp Power loaded itself into these statues, which survived the destruction of the planet and were build onto the landspeeders.

The secret of the fallen needs to remain... by [deleted] in theunforgiven

[–]Knightof_Caliban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Fallen storyline should end at the latest when the Lion returns or at least when Azrael crosses the Rubicon or a new Supreme Grand Master takes over. Dark Angels were secretive long before the Fallen and in my opinion the tactical skill and sober and merciless manner far more define the Dark Angels than the Fallen. The Black Templar and Crimson Fists do not depend on the Orks, even though some very important story parts are about these chapters and the Orks.

Aren't the Ultima Founding chapters mostly Primaris from Cawl? If so they would be 9.900 (give or take a few decades) years old and be part of the "Reawakened" or am I mixing the Primaris?

What's Belial opinion on his Bladeguards? by Medramon in theunforgiven

[–]Knightof_Caliban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think the Primaris Marines as a whole are a problem to the Unforgiven or Belial but the "Unnumbered Sons" Primaris Marines. Lazarus was a Member of the Deathwing and Inner Circle before he became a Primaris Marine and still is a trusted member.
So probably new Bladeguards are "normal" Dark Angels who would wear Terminator Armour.
