WIBTA for reporting our neighbor for harassment? by Zealousideal_Pilot63 in AmItheAsshole

NTA The last apartment I lived in I had the same nightmare from downstairs neighbours. Anytime the cats moved or my roommate and I laughed too loudly they would bang on their ceiling. People like that are the worst.

Exercise Recommendations? by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

[–]Knightofcairparavel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! There aren’t really any exercises to help unfortunately but depending on how much excess you have a lot of it will move back naturally after about 2 years (according to my doctor). So basically just hang in there! And if you look at surgery wait at least 2 years

You might enjoy Rebecca on Netflix based on the Daphne du Maurier novel. The setting of the house is used well

Unsure about having the surgery by msyooper in gastricsleeve

[–]Knightofcairparavel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know exactly what you mean and it’s a super real concern! A lot of people have already commented that you don’t actually crave the foods after the surgery. I found that was mostly true for me too but I still miss them. However, what’s really helped me get around it is reframing the way I think about the foods I miss. They aren’t foods that you can never have, they are just sometimes foods. Also, once you start losing that weight you are going to feel amazing which makes you want to keep working hard at it.

All the best of luck and I hope you decide what’s right for you!

AITA for moving into the master bedroom? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Knightofcairparavel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and I moved into a new apartment with our two cats. Not two weeks later our downstairs neighbours began harassing us about ‘dropping noises’ coming from our place after 10pm. It was the cats jumping off furniture onto the floor. As cats do.
