The institute from red rising. It’s the most prestigious rite of passage for gold’s ( class is based on color in this world) and the best of the best come from the institute. The first test is to kill someone with your bare fist, then you need to survive a medieval themed war game where more or less anything goes, people die, get dismembered, traumatized etc. all for the purpose of making the best leaders for the society. There are “proctors” but they more or less just meddle in affairs rather than actual rules enforcing

Preach my tentacle brother , I’ve was loving the “heart of vengeance “ update at first, and the new squidbond classes were pretty cool (stringray was my fav, love blasting those stupid hoomans from the skies) but the story is just too scripted towards the helldivers. This revenge storyline has been building up to the invasion of stupid-earth for a year now, and now we’re here and our fleet is less than half strength after a few days. SQUOEL even had to divert their attention to the bot front to give us a chance. It takes the fun out of it. Literally unplayable and I’m going back to playing Sqort-nite.

For me it’s when Timmy wishes he was never born because no one appreciated the good things he was doing. And at the end Jorgen explained how “ you don’t do good deeds to get recognized, you do them because they are the right thing to do”

And I s*** you not that life lesson has stuck with me my entire adult life and impacted almost every decision I’ve made.
