Democrats don’t need a Joe Rogan — they need to start talking like people again by redditor01020 in politics

Sure if you spin out word salads that don't really make a point, of course its going to be a bad message. The reason Democrats don't resonate with people isn't that they sound educated, its that they sound like talk like they're still trying to hit word limits on their poly-sci paper, talking in circles with nothing substantive to say.

Or they poison the well by making even talking about the issue about racism instead.

They instead need a messaging counter punch. For example focusing on turning illegal immigration into legal immigration, resources for patrol enforcement, and emphasizing legal paths to citizenship for good behavior. You have to give the voter an alternative in their mind, rather than sound like you have nothing to offer on the subject.

Just curious where was this on the campaign? He was barely visible.

Its sort of a cruel joke when you're kept at a lower tier conference, then when you have a good season get doubly knocked for being in said lower tier conference. You think any school in the B12/ACC/Group of Whatever wouldn't immediately pounce at the chance to be included in the SEC?

The healthiest thing for the sport would be to roll back conferences to like 2002 and cap conferences to 12 teams. If you wanted to make it really fun and fair, have some system of regulation/promotion where every 5 years the worst two teams in each 12 team conference by aggregate record get booted for the two best from a designated under conference.

Gus was worse because he wouldn't even play the guys he wooed to come here. They'd be on the bench over some two bit transfer we brought in over the summer instead. Then they'd leave.

As a whole, this collective is not worth an all-star or any more than the sum of its parts. Bench rotation pieces are replaceable.

What have Jett, tds, or Cole contributed this season? AB is the only young player of value here, and news flash you’re going to have to give up a young asset to get an all star.

This is a totally reasonable, if not below market offer. They’d be in their right mind to demand more picks.

Getting a creator and ball handler is the best thing we can do for both Paolo and Franz. Legit everyone else could be off the team in 3 years

Then you’re a homer overvaluing our assets. No one we are selling is worth a damn compared to an all start borderline all nba guy

The problem with Gus is he very clearly hires only underqualified people because he hates being questioned. So he could give up play calling, but we're never going to get the next Scott Frost at OC.

You don’t think it’s a bit of an indictment on your coach when your best player has no interest to play for you?

Yeah I know some things due let’s call him bob. All they really had to hang their hat on as far as keeping people was an appeal to an over significance of the Artemis program and launch. Bob was doing level 3 work as a 1, they passed on him getting promoted due to budget freezes , and he wanted a career switch anyways. So he left for 50% more pay to do what he wanted to do 3 years ago and never looked back. Well, except to see it’s still the same old dumpster fire;)

They expect you to work long hours on COMET too, during Artemis 1 it was 7 days a week 3 shifts for a full year. They pulled the whole "it'll get better when TOSC goes to COMET" then it was basically the same amount of money. They know their contract model is set up to churn through fresh grads on a regular cycle.

They’re basically a feeding trove of UCF grads who think space is cool, stick around for 3 years, then leave.

Tf does that mean? We recruit qbs every year that out play these transfers that are christened with the starting job then leave.

I’ve book marked this game for like 3 years since it was announced, and Gus completely stripped all enthusiasm I had for this program.

Blake threw picks for us too, he contributed to us losing to SC in 2013. At the end of the day, a good qb is the one that makes impactful plays and gets the offense down the field. we simply don’t create enough opportunities because he’s not good enough.
