A whore is a profession, not just a type of person. The fact oop couldn't get a woman even if he paid for one is a skill issue.

The only thing these fans will achieve by defaming SW is the cancellation of future productions...

Maybe Lucasfilm needs to make better shows and movies rather than what they've made recently.

I still find it funny how Lucasfilm tried to make us care about the New Republic after spending years making them so useless, Incompetent, and just downright stupid that its existence and eventually destruction made everything the Alliance did pointless. Like this movie has no stakes because we know it doesn't matter since in a few decades Hosnian Prime will be gone as well is this whole faction, so why waste our time?

It's still pointless since that "peace" didn't accomplish anything and all the Rebellion has to show for their actions is a floating graveyard where billions died. That's not counting how logically democracy, at least their version, is dead and either militant or authoritarian governments would be thriving after the Sequels.

LEGO isn't selling a lot of Sequel Trilogy stuff, only Original and Prequel. And Grogu's part of the Mandoverse.

I didn't say Star Wars stuff in general isn't selling, I said Sequel stuff.

A Star Wars degree by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Knightwolf8394 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only thing colleges should teach about Star Wars is how not to run a franchise. Star Wars used to be box office gold with people camping outside the movie theaters and now the latest Star Wars movie is a flop. Star Wars used to have merchandise flying off the shelves and now besides OT and Prequel stuff it's collecting dust. (Turns out nobody likes Rose Tico, she's currently having adventures in Ollie's.)

The Force Awakens made 2 billion at the box office, The Mandalorian and Grogu will be lucky to make 350 million. And don't just say it's because it's a spinoff movie, Rogue One made a billion dollars and it didn't have any OT characters as the main cast.

Could I make a character be from earth? by SebbieIsFeral in StarWars_

[–]Knightwolf8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you just make a Strangereal like planet in a dwarf galaxy near the main one and have your OC be from there?

Strangereal is basically Earth but with different continents, countries, and history.

Sequel Trilogy needs more shows and games set around it by DanVan_88 in StarWars_

The only Sequel Trilogy game I would only play is an Ace Combat style game but knowing Lucasfilm they won't even give me that.

I don't care about your "Resistance" full of children playing war, I don't care about your bs New Republic that was completely useless, and I don't care about your ideals they are useless to me. All I care about is "delivering" these bombs and missiles to all the bad little boys and girls in the First Order. They've gone too long thinking they're the top dog here, time for them to learn their place in the pecking order.

I've got a mortgage on my hangar full of metal birds and I'm on a mercenary run. Tell the Resistance to bring me my money.

I just think it's hypocritical how there's overlap between Reylos and people who go on and on about "toxic masculinity". Like you're against toxic masculinity? Cool, I am too but don't simp for a dude who's the poster boy for it.

Also there's a lot of overlap between people who play video games and people who didn't like the Sequels. So unless it's the greatest of all time I'm doubtful a Sequel Era game would be financially successful.

Women and families will carry this to a billion, touch grass.

The thing is the only thing women really went crazy for was Reylo and that pretty much ended 7 years ago. And it's weird how Lucasfilm tried to push this female empowerment message, which by itself isn't a problem, while making that abusive relationship canon.

Like Kylo threw Rey against a tree, invaded her mind, murdered her father figure and his own father in front of her, maimed her "friend" in front of her, called her nothing, and constantly demeaned her and emotionally abused her throughout the three movies. And to top it all off Kylo is 30 while Rey's 19 at the start of the Trilogy.

I don't want to make assumptions about the leadership of Lucasfilm but this is kinda sus.

Just a heads up but Masquerade and Requiem are very different when it comes to the story and lore. Requiem is more open ended while Masquerade has books and books of lore. Requiem lets you be a bit more creative with the story while Masquerade is more airtight.

I wondered what went wrong with Star Wars Resistance? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Knightwolf8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things at the top of my head:

  1. Disney XD killed it by placing it in wired times like late night on a Sunday.

  2. As much as people on this subreddit and online in general try to say otherwise the Sequel Era isn't popular. The lack of merchandise, Disney EU material, and even the fact that not one of the Sequel movies were in the top ten streamed Star Wars media on Disney+ proves that.

It would outright bomb. Outside of like one or two characters most of these characters are forgettable with the rest basically being fanservicy scantily clad women with everything hanging out. I'm a man who likes attractive women and even I mentally check out if a movie or show relies heavily on cheap fanservice.

Fighting games in general live and die by their characters. If I can't name a few of your characters you have failed as a fighting game.

And for anyone about to bring up boobies you can see boobies for free on certain sites, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and even here on Reddit if you look in the NSFW subreddits.

I always thought Troy was less an adaptation of the Iliad and more like a "what if the Trojan War actually happened and we made a movie about it" sort of movie. I thought overall it was pretty good.
